Muse Taken Hostage

My weekend was fine….except my book has taken my muse hostage and refuses to negotiate. So I’ve hired this guy…

die-hard…to free my muse so I can finally write this next scene and get the book moving again!  Do you think it’ll work?

How was your weekend?

    I love that movie.

We had summer-like weather with record breaking temp of 92. I took a nice stroll on the boardwalk.

Ah, there’s something about Bruce (and Bono) that tweaks my gears. Don’t know what it is, but Demi was snorting something when she dumped BW for pretty boy AK. *shudders, as she brings appletini to her witchy lips*

If Bruce can’t….I’ll send in the Marines! And a few brawny Highlanders. Have we tried threatening the book with fire? Sounds like your hero is spoiling for a good fight. Tell him to “Bring it on!”

Dru, I liked the movie too! Sounds like a really nice weekend for you.

Margaret, I am with you! I love men who look like men. The too fussy, soft look doesn’t do it for me.

    I want an appletini!

Silver, highlanders! Send ’em! With big swords!

I’m not sure what the trouble is, but I’m just going to keep working until the book starts working. So yeah, the hero can “bring it on!”

    Are you back home now?

Yup. Got in last night just in time for dinner. Today is a mountain of laundry, restocking groceries, dealing with clingy critters, and at some point, I hope to open FF and get started back on revisions. Is it time for appletinis yet?

Send the hero over. I’ll coerce him one way or another to get him to cooperate!

Hello ladies! Jen I think you picked a winner. John McClain (sp?) is definitely worthy of a fight with a Wing Slayer. Unfortunately I don’t have any good ideas for getting your Muse back. Has the book made any demands yet?

Silver, bet you could really use some witchcraft to tame that laundry and comfort the critters! And heck yeah, it’s Appletini Time!

I’d send Phoenix over there, but I’m a little worried I won’t get him back by the book’s deadline…

Hi Erika! The book is only demanding my soul so far…but I’m determined to turn a corner today!

Tell Phoenix I’m sending Chuck Norris over to your place! Srsly! Then kick back and have an appletini (or ten!).

Yum, Highland warriors. . . with scars, begging to be traced with one’s soft wet lips.
    Damn bring me an appletini!
    Welcome home, Silver

Oh wow…Scottish men. yummy. My favorite topic! *grins evilly*
And my book has been evil to me lately as well. But beefy “real” men might do the trick!

Just your soul? Is that it? Well as long as it’s being reasonable . . . :D

Silver, good idea! I think I’m making progress while Phoenix is busy cracking jokes with Chuck! Hope you’re getting all caught up!

Ashlynn, they are yummy! I hope your book is starting to cooperate, but if not, we can always spend time thinking about the scots…

Erika, LOLOL! It does feel like we pour our souls into the books sometimes. Othertimes, I’d just like to pour gasoline on them.

Hasn’t it been Monday long enough? Let’s serve up the Appletinis!

EXCELLENT suggestion! *shakes up appletinis pours all around* None for you Phoenix! (slaps hand away)

Erika, you should see the expression of Phoenix’s face! ROTFL!

Appletinis! Yay! Jen, here’s some ammunition for dealing with Phoenix. Just remind him that when the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris does not use spell check. If he happens to misspell a word, Oxford will simply change the actual spelling of it.

Although it is not common knowledge, there are actually three sides to the Force: the light side, the dark side, and Chuck Norris.

I think spending time thinking about scots is a good idea. I could do that all day…and then some. *yumss* Oh..or even think if Paul Telfer, who is a scot, and VERY hunky.

Silver, I’ve seen those! Too funny. I have a list of them, but haven’t found a place for them yet.

Ashlynn, now I have to go look up Paul Telfer! I can’t resist a hunky scot!

Oh…you WON’T be dissappointed!! *BEG* He’s actually who I have pictured for the hero in my first novel. *sighs and drools*
