Witch or Horse’s Behind?

I finally started my synopsis for the fourth Wing Slayer Hunter book.  It’s going to take awhile to flesh it all out, but at least I have a rudimentary plot that I’m excited about! This will be Key’s story, and I knew a good deal about him, but I had to find just the right witch-heroine and a plot that brings it altogether with in the framework of the world I’ve already built. That takes a lot of weaving together of different threads!

But I have a start and I was feeling great!

Then I shut down my files and attempted to get a few things done. One of them included vacuuming. I managed to break the vacuum. Again.  Being stubborn, I continued to vacuum just to finish. Since it was the self-propelled thing that broke, it was very hard to push and I pulled my neck, strained my hand a bit and filled the house with the aroma of burning rubber. I’ll be fine (it’s very minor), but now I feel like the back end of  this…

I know the vacuum does this just to annoy me. I bought the stupid thing because it was self propelled. Even the vacuum repair gal can’t figure out how I keep breaking these belts so often.  Whatever…

But once again, I believe that I have proved my prevailing theory CLEANING IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED.

So which are you today? The hot witch or the backside of the horse?

Congrats on starting your synopsis for book 4.

I totally agree with you on cleaning.

    I’m a hot witch.

    Have a good Thursday.

Hot witch? Yeah, I wish! As you said, no amount of magic :( Definitely feeling like the back end of the horse. *sigh*

I agree with you on the cleaning. I usually end up stubbing my toes or hitting my hand on something when I vacuum. Cleaning should really be outlawed, don’t ya think :D

Way to go on the book, Jen! And speaking of books, only 19 more days until Soul Magic :) Woohooo!

It is funny what a cup of coffee will do for you!!! After my coffee, I feel like a hot witch!!! I am even wearing my black magic dress ;)! I do love the picture of the sexy witch up there… but really, before my coffee… the horse is a real life version! LOL!!!

Congrats on the 4th brother!!! YAYAY!!!!

And as far as cleaning, I feel it should be banned! It is very hazardous to health and body! Heck, just doing clothes is scary… never know what will come out of those pockets… that is why I do not check pockets!

Well… I feel like the hot witch, just don’t LOOK like the hot witch. LOL I love that art. I have a poster by the same artist that drew that one. :)

Cleaning? We don’t need to freakin’ clean!

And I’m thrilled with your progress on your 4th book. SO very cool!! I can’t wait until Soul Magic is out.:D Keep up the awesome work.

I feel like the backside of a horse most days. I’m running a contest right now. How many days in a row can Erika take something really simple and make it really difficult??

I thought Soul Magic wasn’t out until closer to Halloween?

Dru, hot witches don’t clean :-)

Dawn, heck yeah! Cleaning should be banned! And why can’t we invent a self-cleaning bathroom?

The release date on SOUL MAGIC changed to October 27th, so it’s a longer wait. Sorry! :-(

Cecile, hmm, I don’t check pockets either and I’ve washed a LOT of chapstick. My kids had to check their own pockets. Although I occasionally came across some strange stuff they forgot to take out.

Cleaning is so overrated. I used to be really nuts about it. Now…who cares?

I’m so with you on coffee! The nectar of witches…along with appletinis.

Erika, you’re correct, Soul Magic comes out Oct 27th. The date got shuffled around a couple times so not everyone knows.I’ll start mentioning it more often. Seriously, I forget to use the blog to promote ;-)

A contest? Is it on your blog? I’ll go look!

Kira, I’m going to have to go back now and look for more work by that artist.

If you feel like a hot witch, that’s all that matters! I just avoid mirrors and am happier for it!

I’m starting to worry about Soul Magic–really hope you like it. But I suppose I have to let that book go and see how it does :-)

Congrats on the plotting, Jen! (I *owe* you an email, btw.)

Cleaning is a health hazard. But not cleaning could bring the EPA down on my head. It’s a Catch 22. *sigh*

Most days, I look like the south end of a northbound horse…and feel the same way. *sigh* I remember the days when I was a hot witch. That was only about a century ago.

Appletinis! We need appletinis, witches! I’m pourin’!

Silver, it’s Thursday, so yeah, let’s start serving appletinis!

Now how cute are these EPA agents? Inquiring minds want to know :-)

    What’s this? You’re not a hot witch? That’s not what I’ve been hearing…

Don’t worry about emails, you have enough to do this week!

Most days I am the backend of a horse, just don’t have the time and energy to care. But when the mood hits me and I put some effort into it, I transform into a steaming hot witch.

With three kids, three cats, a turtle and a hubby cleaning is a neverending task. When we first started our family I tried for spotless now I am happy with presentable. I think vaccums were invented just to drive us witches crazy, every time I go to use it I have to take it apart and put it back together to get it working and it still doesn’t do that good of a job.

I am eagerly awaiting Soul Magic and am sure that the fourth book will rock.

Appletinis, are they good? Never had one.

Ya know? There’s a reason witches prefer brooms. Just sayin’…

cleaned my bathtub yesterday – aggrevated my tendonitis – still avoiding the fridge …

tell me who the artist is – please, it’s driving me crazy … I want to say Royo (?) nothing gets me going in circles like (temporarily) forgetting the name of an artist or who sings a song !!! UGH !!! art major for how many years and I can’t remember the name of a contemporary illustrator !!!

Oh I am so agreeing with Silver on the broom thing. I have all ceramic flooring… so mopping is my thing… and I dread it as much as you do vaccuming!!!! I am sure for being the witch I am… hubby would like to take that broom and shove it somewhere not nice, when I am being very witchy!! LOL!!!
But if we are bringing the EPA agents in the picture now, I will have to slow my process of cleaning down… just to see what they look like!
Oh and Silver is a hot witch!!! =)
And bring on the Appletini’s; is it 5 o’clock somewhere!!!

Val, you have the best of both worlds–able to be hot when you want it :-)

Appletinis are a sweet/sour drink. I like them, but I’ve *really* only had them a few times. Shhh, don’t tell anyone.

I have three sons and gave up perfect when they were teenagers!

Silver, LOL! Oh yeah, give me a broom anyday. By the away, I actually had to buy a broom a month or so ago. The wizard and I went to the store to buy one and he cracked witch jokes endlessly.

Oh Ban, ouch on the tendonitis! Been there, and it’s not fun.

I got the picture from photobucket, who lists it as by “Secretivme.” Sorry I can’t be more help!

Cecile, I love ceramic floors! I wish I’d extended mine out more when I redid the downstairs. But then, I’d be whining about mopping.

We’re going to have to entice some EPA agents to the blog to check them out.

Still jealous that you met Silver in person!

    And it’s always 5 o’clock on the blog :-)

*blush* Y’all are gonna give this witch the big head! I’ll let you know when those EPA agents show up. With my luck, they’ll be in full body contamination suits! *blink* Wait…*studies hazardous material handbook* Ha! If I contaminate them, they have to strip down for the decom shower….Hrm…Let’s mix some appletinis and think about this!

The artist is Victoria Frances, I beleive. I really love her work. And is a huge fan of Royo. :)

Kira, thanks for the info! I wouldn’t have ever figured it out. What would I do without you all?

Jen, she is amazing!! Still hoping to meet you in person too…!!!
Girl, to me… it is easier to mop than vacuum… Besides having two dogs would make vacuuming make me laugh all day long, because they are scarier dogs!! LMAO!!! So, mopping is easier for all of us!

Hummm… Silver is on to something there… if we contaminate them, they would have to get out of the outfits and take a shower… and then we would have to join them in the shower… because we are dirty too, lmao!! I had a few appletinis already!!! LOL!! Oh man… I think one is knocking right now… They heard I had a nuclear appletini over here!! Evil Grin!
