Or does this seem like a Santa Fail to you? I really don’t think I want THAT coming down my chimney.
Maybe it’s just me but I’m not getting they sexy Santa feel. What about you?

Jen, I think I’m seeing that “dork” sign again. I don’t want him coming down my chimney either. FAIL! I want the sexy Santa from last week (Santa #2, not Santa #1!) to come down my chimney
This weekend, I have to finish my shopping and wrapping. Tomorrow, my sister’s coming home with her boyfriend, so visiting with them. Other than that, I’m going to enjoy not having to work tonight

Awww, poor thing. He’s too young. Throw him back until he’s had a chance to grow some muscles or maybe a couple chest hairs. He’s not only a gangsta wannabe, he’s a grown-up wannabe. So sad.
I think I’m falling into the category of ‘waiting for this to be over’. Shopping’s done. So’s baking. All that’s left is the big day, and I’m ready for that to be celebrated and over with. Not that I’m being a Grinch or anything. I’m just ready for the new year to arrive. (Plus I’m dying for everyone to see their presents.)

As for this weekend the kids and I will be baking cookies with my mom on Saturday. This is a whole day affair. I do have a couple presents to pick up, and hubby is doing all his shopping on Sunday.
I’m excited about Christmas day, but also can’t wait for it to be over. I enjoy watching everyone open their presents, and of course getting my own as well as spending time with the family. However, by the time it is over I am almost to tired and beat to enjoy it.

Oh gosh… Poor thing is no older than 16… LOL!!! He is just playing pretend – that is what he is doing, lmbo!!!! And I am not sure if I really want to know if that is a thong he is wearing or not… eeekkkkkk…. eyes now have blind spots in them… damn… And I am really scare to find out if he actually tied his hat in a pretty bow in the back… or if that is gangster wanna be do-rag!!! Oh poor thing… go play with your friends now and let the big boys play!!!!
Raising my hand… I have not started my shopping yet. Going this Saturday. Have not prepared anything yet either. Kinda waiting for it to be over with ~ kinda not at the same time. I want to enjoy my time off. We get the Thursday and Friday off… and I want some me time… I know I know, it is time to spend with everyone, but come’on a few hours will not hurt!!!

I think the media just starts this whole things too soon and we all get worn down. It’s not really a Grinch thing it’s just overkill.
oh and funny thing: The California Highway Patrol arrested the Grinch at a toys for tots thing. Hilarious!

If I remember correctly we are doing 10 kinds of cookies. Now that the kids are older though, they do their own picks, it takes the better part of the day, but it is fun.
I think you are right about the season starting to early. Christmas stuff hits shelfs around here before Halloween is even over. It is actually really annoying because by the time I am ready to start buying Christmas stuff in December they are already pretty much picked out and Valentines stuff is appearing. This is kinda a pet peeve of mine, how stores stock out of season. Like when I go to get my kids a winter coat at the end of November and there are only a few choices left, but there are racks and racks of swimsuits. Bahhh …. okay, I’m done. Sorry for the tantrum

I have A LOT to do this weekend. Is daughter’s bday Sat, but her party is tonight, then tomorrow DH wants to go look at a truck, Sat night dinner for daughter and Christmas program at church THEN my mom and her family is coming over Sun for our Christmas. *sighs* I’m tired just typing about it. lol Sometime Sat I have to clean the house and cook for Sun.
The only nice thing…I found out that we only work 2 days next week. Yeah!!

I created the sneaky shoes. That was the best invention E-v-E-r!!!!!! You know you love my sneaky shoes, lol!!!
I have to say that I kicked butt shopping today, one day… 5 hours…. everyone is scratched off!! My checkbook did not like me for a while, so I could not go shopping and that is what kinda had me a in funk for a while, but things go a little back on track, so I had to wait. I had my office party Friday night. We got back home and to bed around 330 Saturday morning, Halfing Witch and I got in the car and headed out. We go everyone off the list. Now I just have to bag and wrap!
Jen, me time is always in the Lair with the men!!! That is the only way to have me time, lol!!! Especially after the weekend I have had!!
