Really…

According to Pop Eater, Lindsay Lohan is working on a Tell-All Memoir

That is exactly what the world needs…That’s all I’m saying…

Although at least Lindsay Lohan has done some acting. Can anyone tell me why the Kardashians are famous?  I have tried a couple times to watch their reality show, however I develop this eye-rolling twitch that gives me a headache.  What is the allure? The fascination?

Okay, yeah, I’m in a mood :-) How about you all? What’s your mood?

First, I just have to ask, WTF does a 24-yr-old girl have to say to put in a memoir? Seriously? She’s 24!! Memoirs are for old people, people who’ve actually had a life to tell about. Second, who really cares?!!! Why do all of these actors/actresses think the world needs to know all the intimate details of their lives? That’ll be another book I WON’T read!

As for the Kardashians, who’re they? I really try to avoid reality tv. I look forward to a day when reality tv goes bye-bye. Now I’M getting a headache :(

*puts on sneaky shoes and grabs wand and runs to the lair* I need some hunks to soothe MY headache away now. Phoenix, come help make me feel better, would you? :D

Reality TV. NOT my thing. The closest I get to reality TV is Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. I did watch a couple of episodes of Jon & Kate + 8, but it was purely research. I had a hunch Jon was an idiot, and I was right. Only took me a couple of episodes to prove it too. ;)

*grabs sneaky shoes and wand, running after Dawn*Hey wait up! Linc, I brought the cards….

uh, maybe because their pop is over-the-hill Olympian Bruce Jenner?
I watch a few reality shows,
–Amazing Race–Love vicariously traveling the world
–Survivor–Took me awhile to get hooked, but I DVR it and fast forward through the back-stabbing
–AI–but only if the contestents are interesting or one has caught my ear, like Chris Daughtry
–Project Runway–LOVE Tim Gunn, an I must say I’m envious of Heidi Klum–DAMN! she looks good for having . . . what? Three kids now?

I’m constantly amazed, and a little pissed, when I see wastoids getting book deals. Didn’t that Hilton chick get a deal last year? If someone put a gun to my head and made me choose between her and Lohan, I’d pick Lohan. Without impending doom, though, I wouldn’t read either.

I only like the reality shows where people are actually accomplishing something – competitions like Top Chef, Project Runway, Chopped – or if they mean something to me – Animal Cops, The Locator, House Hunters. Of course, I love Holmes on Homes. I think Mike Holmes could qualify as an older Wing Slayer Hunter, but maybe that’s just me. ;o)

Erika, deal me in too! Linc needs to have his butt kicked again :) And, Linc, please no whining when you lose again, kay? It’s soooo unattractive in a Slayer.

I don’t watch tv much at all. I will sit in the living room with DH and the kids while they have it on, but I’m usually on my netbook or reading. I told my son that if I lived alone, I wouldn’t even own a tv. lol He said “I couldn’t live without tv. Mom, you’re weird.” Kids. The things they say!

My DH always has comedy on. No reality shows unless you count Celebrity Rehab. Great show for your kids to watch. It’s a real eye-opener.

Runs after Dawn & Erika…for once I would like to be here early! Don’t start the party without me!

Dawn, I’m with you on memoirs. Time is a teacher, and it’s better to write something like that when you can look back with more clarity and wisdom.

    But that’s just me.

    I’ll never get the Kardashians.

You know, you could just take Tylenol for your headache :-)

Erika, I like Dancing With the Stars, although i don’t watch it often. But I don’t watch much reality tv.

SNORT of watching Jon and Kate to determine Jon’s an idiot! I never watched it but I suspected as much!

No cards! And stop encouraging Linc!

Margaret, LOL on Bruce Jenner. I can’t believe that guy’s face! It’s hard to look away. Poor guy!

I’ve heard people love Amazing Race! I “get” AI I just don’t invest the time.

OH! I did watch that show Toddlers and Tiaras or something like that one night. I can see how people get sucked into those shows.

    Heidi Klum is not mortal!

B.E., I guess I’d pick Lohan too. At least she was cute in movies when she was younger.

Oh! House Hunters! Yes! I watch that all the time! So I do watch some Reality TV. I’ve see a bit of Holmes on Homes too and like it. Mike Holmes just seems like a nice guy…not enough of those out there.

Ashlynn, the TV doesn’t distract you? If I’m reading or working, Wizard keeps talking to me, even about commercials.

    Too funny about your son!

Cecile, you know I watched Criminal Minds for the first season, then it just got too freaky for me. I can read very graphic horrible stuff, but I can’t it on TV. Weird.

I want appletinis and cookies too! And damn, I can’t see a thing with this magic cloaks! What are you doing under there?

Tylenol? What fun would that be? My way is much more fun :)

Ashlynn, we wouldn’t start the party without you. Promise. We might start other things without you, but not the party :)

Cecile, pass some of those cookies this way, would ya? Oh, and I need Appletinis, too. Can’t play cards without drinks :)

Heee heee… I am so glad that Harry Potter gave me his cloak. Okay, just for your information, he lost in a card game too. And nothing illegal went down there. But I did win the cloak.. Maahhhaawww!!!

OH Jen, I can not tell you what is going on under the magical cloak! Hee hee!!!

That is strange that you can read it, but not watch it. Yea, I guess I am a freak to watch those shows, but I love them.

Dawn… Here you go honey, you know I share! In fact, I baked some more cookies! And made some more appletinis! There will be NO playing cards without drinks!!! Hee hee!!!

Jen you can have some cookies and tini’s if you want… but you gotta promise not to be mad when you find out what we have been doing….. hee hee

BE, I LOVE Mike Holmes and even featured him (with some other HGTV hotties) on a Saturday Brunch at my place. OMG! Yes!

I’m watching Amazing Race this year because I know the two cowboy brothers, Jet and Cord. They are too cute. I always watch DWTS, though I’m not seeing much in this season’s crop to root for. I got caught up in marathon sessions of America’s Next Top Model one time…thinking the whole time that I needed to write a murder mystery set in the show. Figured I might get sued so dropped the idea. ;)

I’m in a funky mood. RL is not cooperating and the brain is spinning in overdrive as I try to juggle rewrites on a beloved WIP and gearing up marketing for release date. The Cards play a spring training game this afternoon. I think I’m going back to bed after a WallyWorld run and watch it. :P

If any of the Slayers like baseball, they’re welcome to come hang out. ;)

Cecile, I’ve been eating cookies and knocking back appletinis trying to avoid thinking about what you’re doing under the cloak!

Silver, you’re in a mood too? It’s really dogging me these last couple days. I hate being moody!

Mike Holmes cheers me up though :-)

And you know, Linc likes anything he can bet on…like Pet Rose getting in the Hall of Fame or whatever that is. Oops did I say that out loud?

And yeah, pre-release stress can really get to you! Hang in there, your book is great!

I really am in a mood!
