Any Good News?

Bailiey waitingHere’s Bailey…waiting to see if I come up with something for this blog.

He’s going to be waiting a long time, LOL!

In some good news,  I discovered over the weekend that SOUL MAGIC is in its second printing.  I had no idea! I found out when I was in a bookstore with an author friend, one who is smarter than me, and insisted I check the printing (the string of numbers usually located on the bottom of the copyright page tells you what printing the book is in).  Sure enough–second printing!

So hmm, I guess that’s my good news.

How about you? Any good news? Bailey is still waiting :-)

Those ears of his kill me. The boy’s definitely got some personality. =o)

Yay for the 2nd printing! That is good news. At this end, the only good news I have is that my rewrite is going well. Now the book really seems to be jellin’ together and I don’t feel like I’m angsting over anything like I was in the last version.

Congrats Jenn! I still recommend it to everyone. Blood Magic is what made me join my book club.

I can’t think of any good news that I have at the moment.

Yay for SOUL MAGIC! That’s awesome news, Jen! :D

Lets see…My side of the metro missed the tornadoes last night. I’m under contract for my novella. I’m doing a book signing at a Barnes and Noble in June and FAERIE FATE is featured on the upcoming events page advertising it! :D

Bad news…I slept late and I need to go to WalMart. :(

B.E., LOL on Bailey Ears. He can hear my son’s car from blocks away (if I’m dog sitting).

Your rewrite going well is great news! I love that feeling when it all starts coming together! It’s makes all the agony before that moment worth it.

Silver, I heard about the tornadoes this morning, glad you’re safe! I’m very excited about that novella! The small excerpt you put on your blog caught my attention.

Yay on your booksigning and being featured on the upcoming events page.

Sleeping in is good (I’m jealous of people who SLEEP) but Walmart…well you’ll get it over with soon!

Kate, thanks for the concern! The swirly things are pretty much a fact of life this time of year. Congrats to you on the mega-success of the Brooklyn/Bibliophile mysteries. They’re wonderful reads!

Cecile, glad to hear hubster is back at work. Nice to have him out from under your feet, right? (Makes putting on those sneaky shoes easier! ;) )

Jen, glad you liked the excerpt. That’s probably the one I’m going to use. :D Hope everyone is having a great day. Is it time for appletinis? We need to celebrate!

Cecile, you deserve a party after going through it. I really hope things are more stable with work now. Man, it has been rough for everyone.

SNORT on slayers being in top condition…they’d have to be to keep up with all of you!
