My Weekend With (Fake) Puppy

The weekend is over? Who let Monday in???

This weekend I spent some time playing with my new “puppy.”  And by puppy, I mean THE FAKE ONE MY SON GAVE ME.

The one that Evil Wizard laughs at.  “Hey, Witch, did you teach your puppy any new tricks?”

“Yeah, how to bite you.”

“Hmm, I  have to see this.”  Then Wizard took my puppy from me.

“Attack!” I told puppy.

Puppy and Wizard

Sigh…puppy is still learning and Wizard is MEAN! (And no I did NOT laugh, that’s just an evil rumor spread by trolls, pay no attention!)

So then I was determined to show Wizard how really super cool Puppy is!

He can get a suntan!

Puppy laying out by pool

And here he was thinking about jumping in the Jacuzzi!

Puppy wants to go in Jacuzzi

But then he realized how big the Jacuzzi is, and how little he is. He decided not to jump in.

Puppy Jacuzzi's too big!

Wizard called him a Stuffed Weeny Dog.

Boy did that make Puppy mad.

He was so vicious I had to put him behind bars:

Puppy, I'll be good!

And that was my weekend with Puppy.

So how was your weekend?

Does Fake Puppy have a name?

I love your weekend with Fake Puppy.

My weekend was quiet. I’m deciding on the design for my next quilting project.

    Have a good Monday.

Didn’t do much this weekend. Worked Saturday, took daughter to batting cages after got home.

Sunday did some cleaning, cut grass, but otherwise just sat around the house. It was nice to not have to rush around or go anywhere for once.

Hey Jen… I absolutely love your weekend with Stuff Puppy! I think Wizard is just jealous that SP has a fan base already, lol!! I know SP has more tricks up his “paw”!

My weekend… Oh wow… It must have been cleaning season (and I am not done yet). I cleaned part of my house from top to bottom and got rid of the clutter in my little cottage. Cleaned out the cobwebs and put them in jars (to use for spells in the future) and cleaned. Spent time with the Halfing Witch and just had a good weekend. One that was needed.

Okay… enough of being a good girl… **filter in evil laughter** I am headed to the lair… I am hearing some rukkus about missing me!!

Weekend? We had a weekend? LOL I love The Puppy With No Name.

Let’s see. I had chapter meeting Saturday. We had a master fencer come talk about swords, fencing, and the history of edged weapons. Interesting program! I also honed my pitch for the OKRWA Summer Heat Mini Conference and for use at Nationals, if needed. And…we dodged the baseball-sized hail last night. Pea sized here but thick enough it looked like snow in the yard.

Val, I REALLY miss the days of softball tournaments and batting cages!

Aww, what a good dog Stuffy Puppy is. And he doesn’t require feeding or vet visits. =o)

Nothing major going on here this weekend. Still figuring out the new gadgets. I finally read Silver’s book and it was pretty awesome. Then I started this zombie apocalypse book called Feed. The best thing about this weekend was that my asinine neighbors moved out. Not good that they snuck out on my landlady (or would’ve if I hadn’t ratted them out), but at least they’re gone. Ah, the joy of neighborhood silence. – however brief it may be.

Weekend? I missed a weekend? I hate it when that happens!

What did I do? What did I do??? I took my kids to the movies on Saturday. Hubby was having band practice in our garage and we didn’t want to go deaf. We went and saw Date Night. Funny. Head over to my blog to see my favorite part. ;)

Sunday, worked on my cross stitch project for my friend who already had her baby, I just haven’t finished it yet…I know, I’m a slacker. I’m working on it. Honest.

Glad to see you and SP are having fun together. Wizard is lucky SP still has puppy strength or else he could have been in trouble. :)

Dru, Puppy doesn’t have a name yet (although everyone seems to be calling him Stuff Puppy). I can’t seem to get a handle on his personality to give him a name :-)

Can’t wait to see your next quilt!

Val, the batting cages is fun! Cutting grass, not so much (Wizard does it at our house).

I was just thinking the same thing about my weekend–the not having to rush around for once was nice!

Cecile, LOLOL!! SP has fans!! I’ll tell Wizard!

You’re making me feel guilty, I should be doing all the cleaning that you are! (I’m running low on cobwebs in jars!)

Hanging out with your daughter sounds like the best part.

Silver, Puppy loves all the attention :-)

Oh fencing! That would have been so cool to see! You guys have the best programs there.

Man, you all are getting hit by storms! Were the dogs scared?

Must remember to email you! I’m going to conference.

B.E., I have to admit you’re right about Stuff Puppy being low maintenance.

    Wasn’t Silver’s book great?

Awesome on your rotten neighbors leaving. I’m sorry they tried to skip out on the landlord, but it sounds like he/she are better off without them anyway.

Erika, wasn’t DATE NIGHT hilarious!!! And I know the scenes you liked, but I’ll go look anyway :-)

Hey, you’re doing better than me, I only did ONE cross stitch in my life and never finished it. I have zero talent or patience for those kinds of project. But my Mother In Law made me a beautiful cross stitch picture that I hung in my living room.

And Wizard better watch out! Puppy is gonna grow up to be fierce!

This was a fabulous weekend! Charlaine Harris was in town signing her newest and some girls from book club and I headed down early in the morning to get a good spot. She was super super sweet. She did a brief Q&A and then signed the books. I wasn’t impressed with the way the store handled the lining up, they didn’t seem to be well organized for such a large signing.

Saturday night was a local festival and hubby and I had a kid free night listening to one of our favorite bands. Sunday ended up being cleaning day, blah!

Love the updates with Puppy. Maybe one day Wizard will cave in, you just keep it up with Puppy and he might.

*HAPPY DANCES* WooHoo! I wish I could offer to pick you up at the airport, Jen, but I think I’m flying in on Tuesday and then friends will pick me up on Sunday and I’ll spend a few days with them in Tampa before flying home. I can’t wait to see you!!!!

    B.E. *blush* Awww. Thank you!

I’m with Silver and Erika. What weekend? I didn’t see any weekend! Lucky me, I got to pull a double at work. I went in Friday night at 11, had a couple hours off (not enough to make it worth driving home) and had to be back at 9AM. I didn’t get out of work until almost 5 Saturday night. Have I mentioned how annoying my job is some days?

Love the pics of SP. And I agree with Cecile; Wizard’s just jealous. Glad you had fun.

Okay, I’m off to join Cecile in the lair. Maybe Phoenix can help me get rid of the headache from hell since Excedrin doesn’t seem to be working.

Amanda, sounds like a fab weekend! Well, except for the cleaning part. But meeting Charlene Harris is so cool.

I hope Wizard caves! I’m trying, but I want him 100% on board before we get a dog.

Silver, I don’t expect you to offer to pick me up! Seriously! I just wanted you to know I’m going. I’m planning to fly in late Tues., and fly out Saturday afternoon. I’ll get to an email soon (Wizard’s been sick…and you know…sick husbands :-))

Dawn, you really didn’t have a weekend! A doubles shift like that sucks, I’m sorry!

Hope Phoenix helped with the headache.
