Almost there…

I’m in the last chunk of revising! I’m going to be cutting it close, but I’ll make it! At this second, I am feeling much better about Key’s book…

By the way, have I told you all the title? It’s SINFUL MAGIC.  What do you think?

Okay this morning, I have to leave early for a stupid appointment, but as soon as I get back, I’ll be diving into the last of revising. Tell me what you are doing today! And are you reading any good books?

SINFUL MAGIC, what a great title :) I love it! And you’re almost done with revisions. Yea! Way to go, Jen!

I have a hair appointment this morning. I may stop at BN while I’m out. There are a couple of books I want and I want to look at the Nook. I saw online that the price has been reduced. Yea! After that, it’s time for my DaySleep. Then, work tonight. Oh yea what fun. NOT!

As for books, I just reread BLOOD MAGIC. And I started reading THE RED PYRAMID. I had downloaded the BN ereader onto my computer and they had a sample of it. I liked the sample so I bought the book. I’m now about half finished.

Happy Friday Eve, witches! Woohoo, almost the weekend :D

Woohoo on the revisions! And woohoo for your awesome title. I can’t wait to read the book.

When I finished the rewrite on the WIP, I told myself I would wait to start the next round of edits. But my fingers are itching to start, so I gave myself permission to start on July 1st. Yay for today! I can’t wait to re-read this and see if it’s as good as I thought. =o)

In reading news, I’m in the middle of The Battle Sylph by L.J. McDonald. It’s pretty good, but totally not what I was expecting.

Wow. That’s a hot title. I like it.

I am working today, YUK. I’m reading Kiss of the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I’m almost done, it’s good. I’m interested to see how the H/H work this one out. Should be interesting. I’m also listening to True Evil by Greg Iles. If you haven’t checked this guy out he’s definitely worth picking up. He’s not romance, at all, but he’s pretty awesome.

YAYAY for title. I love it! An YAYAYAYYAYAYYAYAYAYAYYAY! for being almost done. I knew the book would come together! Go, Jen. Go, Jen! Shaking pompoms for you but I ain’t doin’ the splits. Just sayin’.

I finished line edits and FAIRY TALES CAN COME TRUE (novella) is back in the capable hands of Ms. Editor 2.0. After a grocery run, I’m back into SOTW and pleased with the way this set of revisions is going. No word yet on it’s submission status either place. I have two more queries I want to submit, too. Tomorrow. That’s my goal. The third place wants a full and I need to finish polishing before the whole thing goes out the door.

Reading Maureen Child’s BEGUILED: A QUEEN OF THE OTHERWORLD NOVEL. I love this series. Happy Friday Eve, witches. Off to face the People of Walmart.

Dawn, the hunks better notice your hair cut :-) Let me know if you decide on the Nook–I just don’t know what I want.

    Aww on rereading BLOOD MAGIC!

I haven’t read THE RED PYRAMID

B.E., I forgot to mention that my editor came up with the title. I sent her a whole list, but hers is way better!

I can’t leave a book alone either, so I get your happiness to start the edits.

I’m only going t have hours to do a clean edit on this book but I know it’ll be coming back to me for editor revisions and I’ll get it clean then.

    Erika, sorry about work :-(

I have read Greg Iles and like him very much! Love his fast pace and tight plotting.

I was just looking at a Kenyon book but didn’t buy it–I’m waiting until this book is done. It’s hard being disciplined! Okay that sentence looks weird, LOL!

Silver thanks for the cheers! Still trying to get over this last hump then I should be home free. TODAY!! Well then I’ll be editing like mad, but that’s different. That’s just pure grunt work.

Awesome that you finished the edits for FAIRY TALES CAN COME TRUE! That’s the book that goes with the cover on your blog last week, yes? So excited to read it!

I love those books of Maureen’s! I laughed through the whole thing!

Hi Mandi! Just so you know, it’s:

NIGHT MAGIC (Phoenix’s book) April 2011
SINFUL MAGIC (Key’s book) May, June or July 2011–the date hasn’t been absolutely set yet.

Today is my birthday. Trying to ignore the world and craw into a good book. But yours are not out yet and the library does not have any of my current favorite authors. I may be looking for books at yard sales this week end. I have a voracious book habit, that is hard to feed at the big book sellers. I may try a web book swap site. No my copies of Blood Magic and Soul magic are not up for swapping.
