Random Tuesday

Wizard was off yesterday, and with the time change–I’m just off my stride. Who am I kidding? I’ve been off my stride for over a week now.

As I’m typing this blog–guess who is sitting on the floor with Sadie sleeping on his lap? It’s not me…it’s Wizard!

Sadie is taming Wizard, LOL! He swears I am brainwashing her, or using a devious spell, to get her to love him so much, but I’ve done nothing! I’ve been too tired to come up with a good spell or effective brainwashing.

It’s all Sadie. She thinks Wizard Totally Rules.

Now on another subject, we set out clocks back in CA and it’s now dark by 5  P.M. I like the mornings better, but the night suck.  Sometimes it’s cozy and fun, but mostly…not.  Mostly it’s boring being stuck in the house.  We don’t even feel as motivated to go into the hot tub.

So what about you? Do you like dark, cold nights? Or long summer nights? Which is more romantic for you?

Ack. I hate the time changes. I wanted to go to bed at 8 last night – which sucks because I usually write at night. I made myself stay up and push, but I’m draggin’ butt this morning.

Sorry to hear you’re off your stride. You’ll get back to it soon, I’m sure. I’m so glad Sadie and Wizard are bonding.

I guess I never thought about what season is more romantic. I’m going to be weird and say Spring and Fall are the best times. It’s not too warm to be cuddly and it’s not too cold to be sans clothes. (And now I’m reminded of that scene in Miss Congeniality where the girl is asked to describe her perfect date and she says April 15th or something. See? The time change is making me goofy. LOL)

Fall is the sexiest! Before the time change, that is. LOLOL! I hate it, too! Warm days but cool nights and being in a hot tub feels sooooo good! Or snuggling in front of a fire. With a puppy of course. ;)

I’m so glad Wiz and Sadie are bonding. There’s nothing quite like the unconditional love of a good dog. Wait! Do you suppose that’s why werewolves are so sexy? Hrm….I’ll have to think about that. In the meantime, enjoy your down time between projects. I’ve got to get back to work on WALTZING MATILDA. It’s time for rescue and adrenaline sex.

I can’t stand the time change. I hate driving home from work when its getting dark and then the kids can’t even go outside to play. I don’t really like the summer nights either unless I’m on vacation. I hate that my kids have to go to bed some nights when the sun is still up but until I win the lottery and don’t have to work its just the way it is.

Glad that Wizard is bonding with Sadie. I swear girl dogs like men better and have told my husband many times we should have gotten a boy so he’d like me. Our dog adores my husband and follows him everywhere.

B.E., I’m impressed that you pushed through with writing in spite of the time change. I like that it’s light in the morning, but like you, I’m dead tired in the evening.

Sadie is going to be Wizard’s Little Apprentice. She adores him. Me she just wants to control, LOL!

I like fall and spring too, I love the cooler weather for a nice change.

Silver, ROTFL!!! Only you could go from cuddly puppy to hot werewolf! Seriously!

Rescue and adrenaline sex sounds like a good way to spend the day!

Sadie put a spell on Wizard–who knew the puppy had powers?

Amanda, I hear you on the kids and work! I hated it when the kids couldn’t go out after dinner. Usually Wizard would go out with them so I could get a few minutes to clean up, etc.

    I think you’re absolutely right about girl-dogs!

I like the time changes because this time it’s light when I’m walking to the office at 6:30a.

Dru, that is an important advantage!
