Wing Slayer Worthy

I’m so consumed into a SP (Secret Project) that I’m barely online. In fact, on Sunday Wizard got up saw me working and asked carefully, “When did you start?” I told him I stayed in bed until 5:30 am. I was actually proud of that.  He nodded, offered no comment and left me alone.

He knows me so well.

So I’m going to put up a Wing Slayer Candidate that I already put on my FB page last week. What attracted me to this candidate is that when I look at it, I see a story. In fact, I think I know the story…but can’t say for sure yet.

That’s what I love about art.  It either speaks to you or it doesn’t.

Someday I hope to have some real art in my house that speaks to me. But I don’t right now…that’s another blog on my utter laziness.

So what do YOU think of this picture?

Wing Slayer Worthy? Interesting? Or it doesn’t speak to you at all?

I say yes because he’s been through something and survived. Those tattered wings get me.

Any hint when you’ll be able to give us some blues into the SP?

    Have a nice day :)!

It is amazing the types of visual images they can do now.

Definitely a story. It reminds me of what my english teacher in high school would do. He would put up a picture and tell the class to write a story for the next hour. I loved doing those exercises.

This story would start…….Was it really over? No it never ends. So much lost for a cause others ignore. He fell to his knees, but he is not praying. Who is there left to pray too…….

Love this pic! Very cool. :D

I haven’t been in hiding, just been busy and when not busy, not feeling well. It comes in waves, I swear.

    Hope you are doing well!!

There’s a story there, but I’m not sure if it’s a Wing Slayer story. Fallen angel story maybe. Or demon hoping for redemption story… Demon gets kicked out of Hell for being too compassionate. Now he’s not sure where he belongs. Roams between worlds looking for his place… and finds… HER.

Now, somebody go write that. Run with it. Between my genies and trying to get this dystopian into shape for the HV thingie, I’m already too scattered to think about it.

I’m not going to let you ramp up my curiosity with your secret project. I’m not. So there. =op

Viki, soon I will tell you guys about this. I had to make sure I can do it first.

With you on the tattered wings!

Kat, don’t stop there! Jeeze, way to leave a witch hanging on the story!

I loved those English assignments too. I also liked the “take these four words, and fit them all into a short story.” Classmates hated it, I loved it because it was a writing puzzle :-)

Ashlynn, you’ve been sick? Are you okay? You’re so right it comes in waves, but I hope you’re getting better.

For me, things have been so much better lately. Hoping it’s a trend that continues!

    B.E., you’re absolutely right in MY story–he wounldn’t be a Wing Slayer Hunter, but he’d be…connected :-)

    Demon being too compassionate–love that!

Sounds like you’re trapped in you’re own world, keep writing!

And I swear to all of you, I’m not trying to tease. This is just something I’m doing for me–okay, for the characters keeping me awake at night. :-)

Wish my characters would keep me awake at night! I’ll be curious enough for B.E. and I both re: the Sooper Sekrit Project.

I love the pic! And yeah, I’m already figuring out how to incorporate it into one of my Penumbra Paper novels, once I get back on track with them. Your guy with the tattered wings? He’s a gargoyle. I know how his wings were damaged. And I know…lots of things. *makes copious notes for later*

I often get inspiration from a picture or a song, so I know exactly what you mean, Jen!

    Happy Hump Day, witches!

Silver, I know exactly what you’re saying about wanting the characters to keep you awake at night too. But it also sucks. I usually only do this at the end of revisions. I’m not sure why it’s happening now.

Gargoyle! So cool, I love that! And if you know a lot of things, I’m going to need some information :-)

What a day–just when I think life is calming down, I get another curve ball. We need a spell for that!
