It was a working weekend, but I got a lot done. Wizard’s being extremely patient because he knows this will give me some time off on Thanksgiving weekend. By the end of today, I should have two projects off my desk, yay!
So Saturday, when I was cross-eyed from writing a synopsis for Entangled Publishing when I got this picture text:
Isn’t she pretty? This is Cookie, she’s my son’s fiance’s dog, so that would make her my doggie-in-law 
Cookie had been out at the dog park playing all day, and here she’s resting. So Son’s Finance and I are texting back and forth then I get this text:
“Girls Love CPA Boy!”
I text back, “CPA Boy give Fiance her phone back right now!”
Fiance texts me back, “How did you know he took it?”
I laughed. ” Because CPA Boy is just like his dad, Wizard. Evil. And arrogant.”
We laughed at them, and after that, CPA Boy was sulking. Amateur, he can’t fool his Mom/Witch!

Cookie is so cute. Isn’t funny how we KNOW the men in our families so well :).
I’m glad you got so much done. Now I hope you do get to relax for Thanksgiving.
My weekend was going great until PhD son broke the coffee pot. I was good and didn’t kill him. I even helped him clean up. But now I have to get hubs to buy me that expensive new machine – good luck with that ;).

Jen funny No matter what age they become there is no way to fool mom/witch.
My house exploded with crafts this weekend. Daughter’s school is having a craft fair so i went a bit craft crazy.
It is good for me though helps to get the creative mind working, keeps my hands busy and clears out a lot of left over crafting stuff………so there hub how can it be a bad thing?! He just needs to sit in his corner at his computer and stay out of my way before I end up decorating him and sticking him in the yard as a lawn ornament.

Awww. Cookie is so cute. She needs to be Bailey’s girlfriend – if she isn’t already. Yay for getting a lot done! Synopses are evil, so I don’t blame you for going cross-eyed or taking a moment to have fun with Fiancee and CPA-boy. How could he even think you’d think it was him? Silly boys. Moms know everything.
I did a lot of reading and watching football this weekend. That Michigan game was awesome. I’m so glad they finally found a QB who can throw accurately. If he keeps playing well, they might actually have a chance this weekend against OSU. :fingers crossed:

Cookie is so cute! And she looks all tuckered out.
I worked Saturday morn. Then went to my aunt and uncle’s house w/ the parents for dinner. Then on Sunday Mom and I both got sick. I’ll leave out the details and just say I spent a lot of time in the bathroom. Still feeling weak today and had to call in sick to work. Blech.

Labrat11, they aren’t sure what breed Cookie is. Probably a little chihuahua with some other breed. When they got her, she was young but undernourished. Since they’ve had her, she has really thrived. I think her paws look bigger than they really are from the angle of the picture.

B.E., I don’t think Bailey has met Cookie, they’ve been careful because Bailey can be very dog aggressive. however, now Bailey’s living with another little dog named Penny. Penny’s young and Bailey easily dominated her, so it seems all is well there.
YAY for your team! I have no idea who Wizard was rooting for, just heard a lot of football in the background and him yelling directions…as if the team could hear him

Cookie is really a pretty girl, and she evidently loves to play with all her friends at the dog park. Such a girl–she gets the other dogs to chase her
She’s also the princess of her house…as it should be!

B.E. I saw that comment about OSU playing Michigan and went…Wha?!? MY OSU plays OU this weekend! (As in Oklahoma NOT Ohio!)
I’m looking forward to a quiet week. Still recovering so not much energy but I’ll do a turkey breast for sandwiches, a pumpkin pie, and cinnamon rolls. Because…wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without them!

The weekend was good. Quiet. Sort of. Finished up my turkey day shopping and hung out with the hubby.
This week is going to be good. I love Thanksgiving. It’s my favorite holiday. I’m only working two days this week so I have all day Wednesday to get my house and my mind prepared for company.
