Wing Slayer Worthy

I’ve started revisions on THE PROPOSITION.  I love the editor even if she’s making me work as hard, or harder, than any editor I’ve ever had.  I really hope I can get this book in shape.

I don’t know if I love the WSW picture today,  so let’s procrastinate a little bit. Last night Wizard was eating some of the left over lemon cheesecake and told me it was great.

So far so good, right? So I’m sitting there, reading my Kindle and basking in the glow of his praise, when he ruins it by saying, “So what dessert are you taking to the family Christmas party?”

I  just got through Thanksgiving! So I answered with a clever, “I don’t know.”

He lowers his fork and frowns. “It has to be blockbuster.”

Now he has my full undivided attention. “You’re pressuring me? About dessert for YOUR family Christmas party?”

“No,” he backtracked immediately. “No pressure.”

Smart wizard! I went back to reading.

“As long as it’s a blockbuster dessert tray.”

I did the whole death-glare at him.

He shoved down the rest of his cheesecake,  grinned right back at me and said, “What? You’re not up to the challenge?”

Damn it. Now I have to come up with a blockbuster dessert tray.  He might as well double dog dared me. Because, yes, I am that mature :-)

Okay, moving on to the candidate for today:

So what do  you think, is he Wing Slayer Worthy?

You two are so funny. Now I can’t wait to find out what you come up with :).
Yes, this one is worthy :).
    Have a great day!

Double dog dared ya, and you fell for it. I think you were played

WS works for me, oohh yah!

I double-dog dare you to NOT make the dessert tray. (There, does that help?)

I don’t know about this candidate either. Something’s off about him – like the photographer got airbrush happy. Or photoshop happy, considering that from the hips down he looks like a different person. Unless he just has really tiny hips and legs compared to the rest of him.

Good luck with The Proposition. I know you can do it!

I think it is the whole hoddie thing throwing off the picture. He appears to be a leaner WS not so bulky. I like….. (clears throat…did I just purr?) Must be channeling my inner cat or kat

Desert? Mini cheese cake cups of different flavors. That would rock!! A favorite for me is just the multi-cookie tray- Ok now I am channeling my inner Martha Stewart 8-O

B.E., not bad photoshop, bad lighting on the part of the photographer. His jeans are there and he has quite nice thighs but the shadows makes him look all wonky. That said, I like the intensity of his expression so I say keep him

As for the dessert tray–red velvet mini-cupcakes, mini pumpkin pies topped with swirls of whipped cream (small muffin tin, Pillsbury pie dough cut to fit each one, normal pumpkin pie recipe from the can but with addition of a 1/2 teaspoon of allspice and topped with Rediwhip from the can!), Spritz cookies from a cookie press in holiday shapes and sprinkled with red and green sugar, Christmas Snowdrop cookies (I’ll send you the recipe–basically egg whites, sugar, mint chocolate chips and pecans dropped on a cookie tray and *baked* overnight in the oven), all centered around your lemon cheesecake. Easy peasy. Glad I could help. :-D

    Viki, glad you like him!

Who knows what I’ll do, it’ll depend what I’m in the mood for :-)

Labrat11, I’m sure I was played! Wizard wants me to keep baking when I’m trying to stop for awhile. He’s evil that way.

B.E. LOLOL!! I’ll tell Wizard you double dog dared me NOT to make a dessert tray!

I suspect they were focusing on the abs too much, and the angle/lighting didn’t work for a total body shot.

I hope I can make PROPOSITION as good as I want it to be. But whatever happens, the editor is doing a good job, any and all failure falls on me :-)

Kat, must be your day to channel! I’ve done mini cheesecakes, but I’m probably not going to decide for a while.

Silver, are you feeling better? I’ve been worried about you.

Probably right on the shadows for the guy.

Thanks for the tips! I’m just not sure what I want to make. Probably the lemon cheesecake, there has to be peanut butter balls or it’ll get ugly. But otherwise…so many options! I want do black and white stars with a ganache filling, I think. Then I’ll just see what I’m in the mood to make :-)

Ahhh, I don’t have a competitive bone in my body – I’ve never given into a dare or a challenge … I guess I’m just not motivated enough ;)

Hmmm, I’m with B.E. he looks wrong. From the pecs up he’s got my vote though !

I like him. He looks like he’s trying to decide who to go beat up :)

Such a delima to have! I have way too many favorites and always have a hard time deciding which dessert to make.

I like him! I’ve got some great desserts that are “tray” appropriate. If you want to swap recipes lemon cheesecake sounds AWESOME.

Ban, is that competitive? I’m not trying to beat anyone else out, but I do love a challenge.

Now stuff like running races…well if it’s with Wizard I do want to win and lord it over him, so I guess I’m busted there :-)

Dawn, I know on the desserts! Although my go-to’s are always chocolate chip cookies (I have a few variations) and brownies :-)
