Happy Friday!

The Baby Bargain Blog stop today is The Romance Junkies  I hope you’ll stop by and enter the contest for the $50.00 gift card!

Yesterday was Wizard’s birthday. BLB was out. He studied and I wrote so it worked out perfectly. Then BLB and I (mostly I!) made Wizard’s strawberry cheesecake and the three of us wen tot dinner. The other two boys couldn’t make it out, but we saw them on Sunday so it all worked out well.

Oh! The lights we ordered for the bathrooms came. Love them! Since we had to order them from a picture I wasn’t sure. I’m getting excited to get it all done.

I’m about 50 pages from the end of my draft of POSSESSION.  I know the ending, it’s a couple scenes between where I am and the end I’m still figuring out. Then I need to rewrite and polish it–all before April 15th. That’s impossible, but I’m going to do my best :-)

So what are your weekend plans?

Happy Birthday to Wizard! I’m glad the three of you had a good time. I bet the other two boys missed some great cheesecake,oh and Bailey too. He must love to sneak a taste :).

I know what you’re doing this weekend – working. Just remember to get up and walk away now and then.

When will the work be done on the house? Any chance you’ll tell us what color granite you picked?

I’m going to clean this weekend ;).

    Have a great one!

    Happy Happy Birth Day WiZard.

Viki spring must truly be here with Jen remodling and you and me cleaning this weekend. I am tying a rope around my waist and diving into my daughter’s room. If I only left a trail of popcorn to find my way out I wouldn’t be able to find it for all the stuff on her floor. :-x Jen please put Ram on stand by for a rescue mission. If you all don’t hear from me on Monday I may be MIR (Missing in Room) oh the joys of tween girls.

Viki, weekend cleaning isn’t fun :-(

I have a picture of the granite somewhere, I’ll try to remember to post it next week. It’s going to be a process to get everything done. I’m hoping the bathrooms are finished by the end of April. The mirrors have to be custom ordered for sizing.

Then we’ll do the kitchen counters. And then we’ll see about getting the recessed lighting/surround sound wiring and ceiling fan we want. That should pretty much break us!

Kat, run and save yourself! Don’t go in the room! It took me years and years to learn to shut the door :-) But I will inform Ram in case you decide to go through with this madness, LOL! Have a great weekend!

Kat – That’s how my youngest sons room was until last year. He’s now become a neat freak. It used to really frighten me as t o what I might find when I’d lift clothing off the floor ;).

Jen – That would be so nice if you are able to post a photo of the granite. I wish you a smooth remodel :).

Happy B-day to Wizard. And now you’ve made me hungry for cheesecake, you evil witch, you ;)

Good luck with the writing. No pressure, but we can’t wait to read it

I have no plans for the weekend other than some laundry and lots of reading. Oh yeah, and I have to take my car in for maintenance tomorrow. But I can read while I wait :D

    Happy Friday!

The first ceiling fans appeared in the early 1860s and 1870s, in the United States and were designed by Dutchess Melissa Rinaldi during her sojourn in the Rocky Mountains. At that time, they were not powered by any form of electric motor. Instead, a stream of running water was used, in conjunction with a turbine, to drive a system of belts which would turn the blades of two-blade fan units. ^
