Wednesday Hunk

Okay we’re going to bring back a classic guy today.  Mainly because I have zero brain cells right now. All I’m doing is working or eating :-)  Although I did talk to middle son last night and he asked me if I’d take care of Bailey at the end of the month while he goes on vacation.  Any guesses what my answer was???

So what do you think?

You said no? – NOT! We all know that Bailey will be at your place the end of the month :). That means fun Bailey stories for us too.

Make sure you take a break and do something fun in between the working and eating (must keep up strength).

    The guy works for me.

    Have a nice day.

The picture makes me wonder what or who knocked him onto the ground in the first place?

I want to share an amazing story with you all. I am a social worker and as such I am the one everyone comes to for help. It is my job and my joy to help people, but I am human and some times when my own difficuties get me down I really wonder who is there for me. That was the place I was at yesterday emotionally. I stopped for gas with my last 20 dollars and 2 weeks till pay day. I went inside to pay and a woman comes up to me and asks if I am the one getting gas at pump 8. Of course my brain is going “is something wrong or does this lady need my help” I say yes She asked how much gas I was going to get I tell her 20 dollars. She hands me a 20 dollar bill and tells me to keep my money in my pocket. While I am standing there with my mouth open. She says that it is her good deed for the day. I took the money and I think I said thank you I was so surprised and then she was gone. I cried on the way home. I realized I got my answer. As long as I keep doing what is right and good my help will be there.

Thought you all would appreciate the Wed pick me up story as well as the eye candy :-D

Yay! Bailey Time! Sorry you can’t brain today. Maybe brain tomorrow.

Great story, Kat. Sounds like you’re generating some good karma and it’s coming back to you. =o)

The guy? I remember him, but I don’t remember what I thought of him. He’s pretty young, but I think he can probably hold his own with the guys. They’ll put some scars on him and grow him up right.

Oh, Cat! You made me cry. In a good way. But still. Beautiful story. That’s something all of us can do–random acts of kindness to pay it all forward.

BAILEY! YAYAYYAYAYYAYAYYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAY! That will give you incentive to write even faster!

And the guy? Yeah. He can stay. He might be a Marine. :D

    Happy Hump Day!

Oh Kat what a wonderful story. There are so many great people in this world. I’m glad you shared. I know how blessed you feel. While growing up we had nothing. My mom was raising my brother and me with no help from my dad. She never made more than $3K in a year. At Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter boxes full of food would just show up on the step outside our 2 room apartment. Envelopes of money would appear in our door throughout the year. Never knew who but always thanked God. I try to remember this every day and pass along the love.

    Have a beautiful day!

Viki, you are right on Bailey! Of course I said yes :-)

I went to the gym this morning, is that considered fun? I had to loosen up the kinks.

On your second comment, your story is inspiring to know that people will help a struggling family. Your mother sounds quite amazing. Living in poverty is soul-destroying, yet it sounds like she kept going. And look how well you turned out :-)

Kat, that’s a wonderful story! I love it, and love that some kind person gave you the affirmation you needed, and the kindness you deserve. Thank you so much for sharing!

Jen – For me working out is fun ;). I’m glad you were able to fit it into your schedule. I think it really helps keep the mind clear as well as getting rid of the kinks.
Enjoy the rest of the day :).

I am. Two characters hijacked a scene but their situation needed to be resolved. Hopefully, after one more scene of “undying love” between H/H, I can get back to the fun part–blowing $h!+ up.
