It’s the weekend again and the end of January! Time is flying as usual. I have a few things to tell you all.
1) The new computer came yesterday afternoon. I hope we have time to set it up this weekend but both Wizard and I are in a time crunch so we’ll see. But it’s here! Can you tell I’m excited?
2) I have a release month for the second book in the Once A Marine series! It’s July 2014 so it’s coming soon! I’m thrilled about that. The working title is The Cowboy Marine–that may change. Now that I have a little distance, I like that book.
3) My narrator for THE PROPOSITION (and I’ll probably hire him for all three books) is Ryan Harding. He’s starting an FB page here. Ryan is a pen name–under his other name he’s has professional credentials as an actor and narrator. I’ve heard the first chapter and really happy with his work. He has an amazing voice!
So this weekend is Superbowl, right? Wizard’s been mumbling about it, that’s how I know

I hope you have time to set up the computer too. It’s so much fun to play around with them when they’re brand new but we all understand that you are under the gun so to speak right now. Just remember that it goes smoother when you take a bit of down time for yourself ie a nice big coffee break ;).
Great news in the release day. Should make a wonderful summer read. Have to check out Ryan’s page later today.
As for the weekend I think I’ll spend time throwing stuff away. I look around and just can’t believe we have all this stuff. Purple Heart is picking up Tuesday so this will be a good weed out weekend. Oh and the Puppy Bowl is on at 3 on Sunday so I may take time to watch that :).

Running with kids and husband this weekend. The track team has a fund raiser, it is girl scout cookie time and hubs has lab tests to do on Saturday.
At least you are more excited about the computer than the box. Me I would be looking at the box going cool what can I use this for while my husband and son would be diving for the new electronics. Make sure to give yourself time for the learning curve that comes with new equipment.

Now that I’m feeling human again, I plan to get out and about tomorrow before the next snow storm rolls in Sunday. Lawyer Guy and I are going out with The Only to “drive the map” looking at houses she’s marked to see. They’ve been approved for their loan so now it’s time to find a house! Sunday, it’s time for brisket and Super Bowl commercials! They’re my favorite part.
Yay on a release date! Can’t wait to read it. You know, I might have to break down and buy the audio books when you put them out. I don’t do audio but it might be really, REALLY cool to listen to that particular story.

I hope you get a lot thrown away–I’m right there with you needing to do that. I cleaned out one cupboard in my office, that’s something I guess

A new house is so exciting for Only and Fam. This is a big year for them and you!
I should do something special for Superbowl–I didn’t even think of it until last night. But Wizard is lobbying for pizza or KFC. In his perfect world, he would have both — but I make him choose one.

Yep, Super Bowl weekend. I just picked up a pack of football shaped donuts with little icing laces, assorted chips, and pizzas. Whether any of it last ’til Sunday is a crapshoot. I’ll watch the game and flip over to Puppy Bowl now and then. Otherwise, I’ll be working. This rewrite ain’t gonna finish itself. And I’m jumping back into the query pool with my genie paranormal mystery (since the publisher finally passed on it).
