I’m sorry for not answering blog comments on Wednesday, this whole week has gotten away from me. I’ve been fighting with the insurance AGAIN to get the meds I need which is a major time suck. But the revisions are pretty much done, about 40 pages of editing left, so yay! It should go in sometime today. This morning I have more errands beginning with a 7:30 am appointment, and we’re suppose to have a torrential downpour all day. But once I’m home, as long as the power stays on, I WILL FINISH!
Then this weekend, I’ll try to get the rest of my Christmas list together, do some cards, and at some point, we need to get a tree. This is my idea of perfectly decorated Christmas:
But I’m pretty sure that’s not happening

So sorry about your insurance problems. They just plain suck no matter how much money they take from us. We’re still having trouble too. Such a pain.
I’ll send good vibes that your power stays on and you get everything done.
I still have no computer, no windows and no one to fix my hardwood floor. The floor people don’t even call back. I’m waving money at them and of 7 companies only one called back.
I plan to get the cards done and some fudge made over the weekend.

Ugh. Sorry about the insurance hassle again. That’s got to derail your groove something awful. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the power stays on so you can get your 40 pgs done.

I’ve got about half the Christmas cards ready to go in the mail. I’ll hit the others after I’ve had more coffee. The Kid called yesterday to let me know she got her Christmas box and to squee over its contents. Then one of her roommates came in and I could hear him in the background doing a male version of squeeing. (I sent a bunch of old DVDs he must’ve liked.)
Okay, I decided this morning that I’m going to quit being a whiny baby and eat my brussel sprouts (i.e. do my edits.) If I come back here Monday without considerable progress, feel free to berate me soundly.

*Phbbbttthhhh* on the insurance company. We’re fighting VA. Lawyer Guy’s “new” MD (who hadn’t seen him in the 9 months since he was shuffled to her) changed his meds. We’ve been fighting the system for 6 months. He finally saw her this week. LG is very scary in person when he has all the facts and she’s a ditz. Hopefully, he’ll start getting better now.
Christmas is two weeks away. I’m not ready. I’m not even close to being ready. I’m being all Scroogey this year. And flailing a lot.
Hang in there with the wicked weather. I know CA needs the rain but dang! A little moderation, Mother Nature! Have a relaxing weekend, Jen, and everyone else, too!

Insurance companies suck. Period. UGH I feel for you girl! What a time waste!
But glad you’re getting revisions done.
I JUST sent FUEL to formatter early, early this morning. Slightly freaking out over here. No biggie.

Not much but just enough to keep me from ‘getting into’ my story. It’s all good though, I know I will finish it this coming year. (that is my secret NY’s resolution
)
PS: I know alllllll about dealing with insurance companies – I worked for a hospital and a cardiologist so I’m familiar with fighting for payments, getting approval for procedures and medicine and writing appeals … best of luck!

Silver, I hope LG can whip the doc into shape. I seem to be on the fasttrack to nowhere in my battle to get the meds.
I’m not anywhere close to ready either and just refusing to panic yet. We’ll get done what we can, right?
We really do need the rain, but there’s a bad rock and mud slide in one area. Still the rain will help the hillsides seed more growth to prevent future slides.
