Happy Friday!

I can’t believe next week is Thanksgiving! It’s going to be at Bailey Dog’s house, which is awesome. However, Bailey isn’t cooking :-) Middle Son’s Girlfriend is an excellent cook, and we’re all bringing side dishes to help.

Bailey’s job will be to patrol the floor for dropped food, and sit with Wizard to make him feel better. Speaking of Wizard, he’s doing great.  Looking at him now, he’s hard to believe how sick he was just this last weekend or how serious it was.

So this weekend, I’m gathering some numbers to show you guys on Monday. I’ll outline my promo plan, and how I think it’s worked so far. And I’m writing some. I want to write more but like just keeps interfering.

What are your plans this weekend?

I can’t believe this is Friday. Ugh. Yeah, TGD is on next week’s radar. Thank goodness Hubs is cooking and all I have to do is shop for what he wants to make. Already got the turkey.

Yay for Bailey! And for Wizard feeling better. :hugs: Can’t wait to see your promo post. You’ll get there with the writing.

This weekend? Hmm…. Sorry, got distracted when your newsletter hit my inbox. Newsletter! I need to finish that and get it out to readers this weekend. I need to organize my book folders on my hard drive. BloodFlow releases on Tuesday. The new cover for Wish in One Hand is up and the book’s on sale. The cover for In Deep Wish didn’t get worked on last weekend, so I have to start that. And I need to get the editing done for that by early December. :head explodes:

Soooo glad Wiz is feeling better!!!! I’ve been out of the loop. :(

Thanksgiving is at the BiL/SiL’s house. She still can’t get out and about too much due to last summer’s stroke. Twenty people are descending on their house with all the trimmings while my BiL (an awesome cook) does roasted turkey breasts. That way, when SiL gets tuckered, she can head to bed.

I’m barely 1/2 through with RDR#4 with a 11/30 deadline. I just can’t get focused on writing–or anything else. Lots of RL intrusion so I’ve got to start pushing back and get it done. I’ve never not made a deadline and Mr. HQEd has said not to worry but….

Part of that RL stuff is lots of Stormageddon time. Little dickens is way too cute.

Okay. Social time is over. I’m going to hide and read Wing Slayers this weekend as my incentive to hit word counts! Have fun, witches. :D

B.E., you’re juggling a lot of things! Hope you can take a break and enjoy Thanksgiving.

    Have a great weekend!

Silver, it’s wonderful you all are working around her limitations. Stroke’s truly suck.

As long as your editor knows where you are in the process, then it’s okay to miss. It’s when you don’t tell them that they run into trouble. Editors really understand that we are human and life happens. You’re under a lot of pressure right now.

    Little Stormagedden is cute!

    Have a good weekend.

It is so good to know that Wizard has come out of the illness so well. Must be nurse Jen ;).

Good thing Bailey Dog is there to protect his humans. I remember how he stood over BLB and now it’s time to take care of Wizard. I’m sure he’ll earn extra treats :).

This weekend I’ll spend getting the remaining items I need for both of my Thanksgiving dinners. I do Thursday and Friday since eldest and middle can’t make Thursday. On Friday I’m doing ham this year. Last year I did a standing rib roast on Friday and I was just too wiped out to enjoy anything. I hope the ham will be less stressful.

Have a nice weekend and relax :).

Viki, thanks on Wizard! And seeing Bailey will definitely help too. I’ll never forget the way Bailey took care of BLB too.

It’s smart of you to pare down the prep and cooking to something more manageable, especially since you’re doing two days of celebrating. I’m beat after one :-)

    Have a great weekend!
