I’d like to take a moment to wish all the moms out there, every single one of you who have a child or who loves a child with that heart of a mother, I wish you all:
The weekend should be nice, but today…well don’t be jealous but Wizard and I are off to the local social security office to ask for a correction of a typo on my file. Sounds fun right??? Honestly this should be easy, just fixing a typo that no one ever caught in years and years. I’ve filled out forms and have all the documentation anyone could possible think of. But since we couldn’t even get through by phone to talk to a live person, and they don’t do appointments there, my hopes aren’t high for a quick and easy fix. We’ll see!
Otherwise, I’m planning to splurge this weekend by making the cheesecake brownies. Plus we’re going to dinner Saturday night with CPA Boy and Special K. I’m looking forward to it. Other than that, I’m trying really hard on this novella. I still need a title too.

Writing. Lots and lots of writing. I have a June 14th deadline on the next Red Dirt Royalty book, the first up in the five book deal I just agreed to. Oh, and I finished NIGHT MOVES so it needs edits, then beta reading, editing, formatting, and release, and I might be babysitting the granddog because the kids are headed to a medieval fair for the weekend. Fun times!

Happy Mother’s Day, Jenn! LOL, with all that’s been going on around here, I keep forgetting that it’s on Sunday. I need to call my mom.
The Kid will be here tomorrow. She’s on semester break and it just happened to coincide with Mother’s Day. Yay. So, we’ve been running around cleaning and fixing and doing all the honey-dos we’ve put off for years. It’ll be nice to see her again and it’ll be nice to relax for a week… well, kinda relax. I have a book about ready for release, so I have to work on that while she’s here.
I hope your SS thing went smoother than they usually do. And I hope you have an awesome weekend! :hugs:

Oh man, I am so envious, NOT ;). I hope all went smooth at the SSI office today.
Strange how things like that creep up. We noticed a few years ago that my youngest’ birth certificate was never signed. We haven’t done anything about it except tease him that he wasn’t really born ;).
Those brownies sound great. I got overruled. No mocha pie instead they’re having me make a mixed berry pie. Oh well.
