The battle rages on between Wizard and Gopher! Wizard has expressly forbidden me from revealing his battle tactics for fear that his mortal enemy, herein referred to as (Expletive Deleted) Gopher, is online and spying on him.
Umm…okay. Wizard might have lost his mind just a little bit 
Anyway, every single morning a new one to these (see picture below) appears on the hill that is now the “Theater of War” between the (Expletive Deleted) Gopher and Wizard:
So right now, Wizard appears to be losing, LOLOL!! Wait, did Wizard hear me laughing???? And yeah, now the (Expletive Deleted) Gopher isn’t even covering up his holes. He’s actually taunting Wizard. How can I not laugh????
Come on, you’re laughing too!
All right let’s move on to to Wednesday Worthy. Today’s candidate is making me so jealous of his abs. I once had abs, now I just drink wine and eat chocolate in their memory
So what do you think? Is he worthy? And okay I just have to ask: Are you laughing about the Wizard vs. Gopher war too? Come on, this is funny!

On the bright side, you don’t have armadillos. They make really big holes. Whatever he tries, good luck to Wizard! Varmints are annoying.
LOL, I never had abs. Or if I did they were buried. Now they’re really buried. But yeah, he’s worthy.
I am laughing about the war, but my sympathies are with Wizard. We don’t worry too much about critters here because we live in the woods and it would take all our lives to deter them all, but you have nice landscaping and he’s just trying to keep it nice.

You get a lot of interesting and picture-worth critters on your land. I get a gopher we never actually see, just the damage he leaves behind.

First – I love this guys abs :). Mine are nice but being a girl they don’t look as defined :(.
I feel so bad for Wizard. You know that varmint is laughing at him like a bugs bunny cartoon ;). I’m sure he’s at the end of his “be kind to animals” rope. I would really try the cage trap with some romaine lettuce. They love it. The traps cost about $10 at hunting stores.
Please keep us up to date with Wizard and his ……. Gopher.

Viki, I’m jealous of your abs too
Wizard is pissed and laughing at the same time. But he’s not feeling particularly humane at the moment. I’ll tell him about the trap though.
I did give Wizard wine tonight. It’s been a long week with home repair type issues and he deserves it.

We have groundhogs. Get rid of one, two more appear. We’re surrounded by farms so it’s a losing battle. There are also groundhogs where I work. I think Facilities Management finally gave up on trying to get rid of them.
