And…he’s back…
Yep that’s like the eighth gopher hole. This guy is still taunting Wizard. He moved from the backyard to the frontyard of the hill that stretches all along the side of our property.
Wizard is ready to go Caddyshack on this gopher.
It’s crazy, we just can’t trap him, can’t get him to move out or take any bait Wizard had tried. Things are getting ugly here–I’m really hoping a certain online retailer doesn’t sell any questionable items because I don’t want my yard to look like this…
Fingers crossed the gopher makes his way back up into the hills while I still have a house 
Otherwise, I’m pretty much on lockdown and working. This novella will go back to my editor on Tuesday. I’ve committed to that delivery date so it will be happening (barring any explosions, LOL!). Which means my weekend is booked with working. What are your plans?

Oh no! Those pesky little gophers. Yep, definitely time to go all Carl on its ass. In order to catch a gopher, you have to think like a gopher. And sometimes, look like one.
You can do this! Kick that novella’s butt.
I’m in a writing stall. So, I’m working on kicking my own butt. Maybe I’ll kick some fish tail, too. I have to pay bills today. And call Mom to wish her a happy birthday. At some point, grocery shopping will be necessary. Yup, it’s a whirl of excitement here. ;o)

Weekend? Tonight is high school football and Stormageddon. Tomorrow morning is Thomas the Tank Engine and Stormageddon. Tomorrow night is babysitting Stormageddon while Only and Baseball Boy go to a wedding or shower or party or something. Sunday is editing because I am going to finish this stupid WIP today. Or else!

Oh that little bugger! He really is playing with poor Wizard. I hope you’re right and that online retailer doesn’t sell explosives. My fingers are crossed that your house stays intact and that Wizard gets the furry dude to head to the hills and stay there.

My girl friend and I are going to grab a coffee tomorrow and then go window shopping in a little town. No money, so no buying. Leaving credit cards at home ;).

Viki, thanks LOL! Now that Wizard has discovered online shopping, I’m a little worried
If a gopher is our worst problem, I’ll take it.
I’ll get the book done one way or another, but I also took a break today to go to the movies with Wizard. A break helps me work with more focus and efficiency.
Coffee and window shopping is fun! I hope you and your girlfriend have a great time.
