Happy Friday!

Friday? This week just zoomed by. I feel a bit like this:

I’m not sure if I’m the tornado or the witch :-) Last night I got all the files uploaded for SAVAGED SURRENDER, so at least Amazon Kindle and iTunes should be live by Monday or sooner. We tested the files six ways to Sunday, and I’m hoping no glitches got though but it’s always a bit of a nail biter, especially with Amazon. Once I set this blog up, I’m going to attempt to upload to Netgalley for reviewers too. Netgalley requires a rather archaic FTP process to upload files and I usually inadvertently miss one step along the way, and spend forever trying to figure it out what I did wrong.

In other news, I’ve mentioned Wizard’s back issues, and that he’s been in pretty miserable pain (sh, don’t tell him I told you guys, he’ll be mad :-) ). Wednesday was a LONG excursion to see the surgeon, but we got some good news. He’s a definite candidate for surgery and it should resolve the problem. Holy Cow, after seeing the MRI, I don’t know how Wizard’s been tolerating the pain at all, let alone doing as much as he is. It’ll take a while to get through approval process and scheduling, but at least there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

Otherwise, it’s going to be a whirlwind weekend. I have 20 more pages to revise, then must recheck a couple of scenes and do a final hard edit before sending it back to my editor. My weekend will be all work and no play, but once I get the book off I can catch my breath a little bit.

What are your weekend plans?

Yes, you are in the center of a whirlwind of epic proportions (as evidenced by the subject of this post… Happy Wednesday?). Darlin’, you need a vacation. :hugs: Hopefully, you can get this last bit done and then go vegetate for a couple days. I’m glad to see Wizard will finally be able to get his back thing fixed. Back things suck. (My minor twingy back thing went away, btw.)

This weekend, I will continue to work on the project I’m not talking about for fear of jinxing it. Got 1000 new words out last night, so that’s something. I’ll probably go fishing a bit. I’ll definitely read and watch football. =o)

Diane, that sounds like so much fun. I’m a little jealous, and hope you and your sister have a blast!

B.E. I’m ROTFL at myself. I had no clue I’d written Wednesday. But it’s exactly the kind of thing I do when I’m trying to accomplish too many tasks in a short time.

And thank you for pointing it out! I fixed it.

Yay on your project. Okay deep down, I actually think keeping it to yourself for a little while is smart. That way all our passion goes into words on the page instead of chatting. I hope you get a lot more words this weekend!

So glad your neck/shoulder is feeling better. Stay healthy and have a great weekend!

Yay on all things on your writing front! Bigger !YAYAYAY! for the good news from the back dude. LG and I totally sympathize with Wiz and here’s cheering for quick resolution and total relief for him!

Weekend is writing, post-season baseball and college football. The emphasis is on writing. Almost done with my proposal. Hope to send it off this weekend. Then revisions on chapters Mr. Ed sent back from NY and a continuation of that book because I only have 6500 words out of 48-50K, due by 11/15. Fun times!

And speaking of…back to work! Have a good weekend, everyone!

    Silver, thanks on Wizard’s back.

Wow you have a packed weekend, Hope the chapter revisions are easy, the proposal finishes itself, and you can’t type fast enough to keep up with the words pouring out on the book! Oops, almost forgot, may all your teams win too :-) Have a great weekend!

Great news for Wizard. I’ll be sending you positive energy that insurance goes smooth and all gets set up ASAP so that Wizard can be free of pain. It is amazing how much pain the human body can endure. I give Wizard high marks in getting through it all.

I hope you get all your work done early so that you can have a bit of play time. At least a glass of wine or two ;).

No big plans for me this weekend. I’ve been having nasty headaches so I think I’m just going to try and take it easy.

    Have a nice weekend :).

    Viki, thanks on Wizard.

ARe having having sinus headaches? I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well. I hope you rested today, and rest over the weekend if they continue. Take care!

No, it’s not sinus headaches. They seem to originate on the right side of my neck and then work up my head and around to behind my eyes. This too shall pass ;).

I hope you’re getting everything done so you get to relax a bit this weekend :).

    Keep us posted on Wizard.

    Take care.
