Weekend Roundup

I’m still recovering from my Yoga class last Thursday, LOL! I found muscles that had been in retirement for years. They were not happy with me :-)

This weekend, I worked when I could around my bad shoulder. I’m making progress on Savaged Devotion, it’s just frustratingly slow. Today I see another doctor to find out what the next step is to resolve the problem. I’m grateful for all the doctors, but boy, I’m tired of going to these appointments and tests.

On the upside, I’m meeting Biker Witch (my sister) for coffee today. That always cheers me up.

But I don’t want to talk about me, I’d much rather hear about you guys! How was your weekend? What’s new in your lives? Talk to me!

Not much new here. Cleaning this morning, because the dust looks about ready to stage a revolt. Writing later. I already admitted to myself I wasn’t going to have this done by today, so I’m not kicking myself anymore. Still got almost 3K out last night. My edits are due today from the editor and I’ll jump into those tomorrow. It’s all good.

Yay for seeing Biker Witch! Boo for your silly shoulder. Don’t you wish you could just bully it into submission? ‘You will work properly, dammit, and without all the whining!’ LOL, if wishes were fishes we’d all eat like kings. Have a great day! See ya Wednesday. :hugs:

I feel for your aches and pains. Yoga and I don’t get along ;).

I hope you had a great time with Biker Witch. Coffee together is always good :).

What did the doctor have to say? Just wondering what the plan of attack will be. I still haven’t been able to get free of this pain. The CBD oil will knock it out for an hour maybe two but that’s it.

My first floor toilet decided to break Friday night. Thank goodness I know a great handyman and he came over a repaired it for me at noon today :). No more non-stop running water yippie!!! Other than that nothing really happened here.

Hope you have a great evening!

B.E., did you tame the dust? My dust has been winning that battle lately. Hope you got some writing in, I’m going to do that next.

Yes, I desperately wish I could bully my shoulder submission, but my neck (cervical) MRI says different. So now we’re looking at the next step.

Hope your week is getting off to a great start!

Viki, my RA doc went over the MRI results in minute detail. It’s basically two bulging disc pressuring the nerve. The key move next is pain management to see if they can isolate and deaden that nerve. I’m also going to do some PT, and hopefully get a neuro consult. Ultimately, the root of all this pain in my right side in from my neck. I wish you could get an MRI too, although i understand why you’re waiting. I’m so sorry! You need relief. Although i have to say, relief is still a ways off for me as I have to get all this through the approval stages.

Bummer on the toilet, but it’s a huge plus that you know a great handyman. We had one for years until he moved, and we miss him so much.

Coffee with Biker Witch was great. Hope you’re having a good Monday (aside from the toilet issues)!

Dust is a never ending battle. I got the front half of the house done yesterday. I had planned on doing the back half today, but meh. It’s not like it’s going anywhere.

Yep, did get the writing in last night. 3500 words and I’m so close to the end of Sleeping Ugly I can taste it. But I got the edits for Wish Hits the Fan yesterday, too. So, I’ll be trying to do both until one or the other is finished.

At least now you know what the root of the problem is. Fingers crossed they get it resolved soon. :hugs:
