Happy Friday

And another week has flown by! Okay let’s do our Friday Five

  1. I have to get this book done before I go to Florida, and I’m full on panicked, hating my shoulder, constant interruptions and endless frustrations. I am getting snarly mean trying to write.
  2. I’ve been thinking about gumballs. I have no idea why.
  3. Wizard was my hero this week. He’s also driving me crazy. LOL!
  4. My nails are lavender.
  5. There are brownies in my house. BROWNIES!! There was supposed to be a reason for those brownies, but the reason didn’t show up, leaving me with chocolate decadent squares of temptation. Sigh… The good news is Wizard is eating the brownies. The bad news…he’s not eating them fast enough.

Okay that’s my Friday Five, the stressed stupid edition. Now it’s your turn to share your Friday Five.

Have a great weekend!

    (2) no coffee in the pot !!!!
    (3) I have cake in my house (after a birthday) and no one is eating it !!!!
    (4) did I mention there is no coffee in the pot ???
    (5) an early shift at work without coffee is not good …. I’m off to macDonald’s

    Have a great day ?

Julie, no coffee is a bonifide emergency! I hope McDonald’s was able to provide you relief!

Also, cake and coffee go really well together :-)

Hope you have a great weekend!

Ugh on the continuing health & book issues. :( I want brownies! Okay, my five:

    1. The 3rd-times-the-charm synopsis/plot revision on Red Dirt #8 (Tucker) was thumbed up. Yay. I’ll start work on it.

    2. I’m slogging through the Penumbra Papers (Roman’s story) book that releases on Halloween. Not fast enough! *flail*

    3. I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole that is Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series.

    4. That said, I’m taking a break from it to read B.E. Sanderson’s newest release, WISH HITS THE FAN, in her Djinn series. This is the final book and I can’t wait to see how it all resolves!

    5. I need a nap. Too bad I have to go pick up Stormageddon at day care. Only is driving back from Tulsa on work-related stuff and Baseball Boy’s softball team is playing in a tournament. They have a game starting in about 30 minutes. Fun times.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    1. Huge bruises on my thigh and shoulder from fall when kid dropped air-conditioner out of third floor window :(.
    2. Hubs took me to happy hour Wednesday – Yum!
    3. Went out and bought a too expensive bottle of wine yesterday because I wanted it. Yummy but didn’t help with the pain.
    4. It’s getting hot here again. I was looking forward to fall :(. Leaves have started to change :).
    5. It’s Friday :)!

I hope the meanies go away.
Gumballs sound good. Maybe you need a character the chews gum ;).
Wizard always seems to be a hero – great guy! Hubs tend to drive us crazy too ;).
    Nice nails.
    Now I want brownies!

    Have a fantastic weekend!

Ack. I was so wrapped up in release day this is the first time I’ve checked my blogroll.

:hugs: for your stressed out ness.

    1) This was one of my better release days.
    2) I did get away from the house today, but it was only to Wallyworld to pick up groceries.
    3) I got donuts, too. Apple fritters. Yum.
    4) The neighbor had to show Hubs a big dead snake he found in the road. He left it in the road in front of our house and the blue jays were going insane over it. Silly birds. They’d jabber over a length of hose, I swear.
    5) I’m reading a time travel romance right now to mix things up. She’s an MI5 agent from today, he’s an Irish Lord from the 17th century. Not quite sure where it’s going, but it’s fun so far.
