Wednesday Worthy

I’m finally able to work a few hours a day! Fingers crossed that this will last!

The sad news is that we’ve finally had much needed rain in Southern Ca, but due to the wildfires in late 2017, there has been a serious mudslide in one of the burn areas that’s killed at least 13 people and injured 25 as I’m writing this blog last night. That number will likely rise.

Today’s Wednesday Worthy candidate is a tribute to the hardworking rescue/first responders out there in the cold and rain trying to pull victims out of the floods and mudslides.

So what do you think, is he worthy?

I’m so glad you were able to work for a longer stretch of time. That’s awesome. And I’m glad you weren’t in the mudslide. Those poor people. Stay safe over there. :hugs:

Yay for getting back to work! I know that will help your mental health if not your physical, but hoping there’s a solution to that coming soon, too! Such an awful thing going on out there. My heart goes out to those affected. And yes, this guy is totally worthy and would be even if he weren’t all buff and handsome!

B.E., I’m glad too. We’re fortunate the hills around us didn’t burn, so we’re in a better position. The rains are moving out too so that’s good. Hope you’re having a good day there!

Silver, yep it does help my mental health. So did the break from work to concentrate on family :-) As for my shoulder, I need to call today and make sure they have the referral through–our health insurance issued new account numbers to everyone for 2018 but didn’t notify members or providers. That has caused some confusion down the lines.

I agree, this guy would be worthy regardless of his appearance for doing a dangerous job that saves lives!

Seeing the footage from the mudslides is so heartbreaking. Those poor people have suffered so much this past few months. There just aren’t words.

    This man is worthy!

    Have a great afternoon.
