Cool Comparison!

A friend of mine, Marianne Donley, sent me this picture! See BLOOD MAGIC on the end cap?

blood-magic-in-pa

Can you read the sign? It says IF YOU LIKE THE TWILIGHT SAGA…and there’s BLOOD MAGIC!

The location of this Barnes and Nobles store is:

Plymouth Meeting
The Metroplex
2300 Chemical Road
Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462
610-567-2900

Thank you Marianne for sending this to me!

I had a really good weekend, and this picture just topped it off.  What about you all? How was your weekend?

    Too cool, Jen!
    Let’s see. . . weekend. . . oh, yeah. . .
Froze ass off in 1,000 MPH wind at frickin’ 8 AM on Saturday for my kid’s soccer game. Who the hell schedules soccer that early on an effin’ Saturday???
Then we had a make up game in the afternoon. Wasn’t freezing, but it was still blowing like a mother. It was a miracle my asthma didn’t kick in.
Sunday: wore heels (4 inch) to church. Walked around in aforementioned heels while looking for first communion dress for kiddo (stupid, I know. Hubby said ‘only one stop’, which turned into 4 stops and lunch). Managed to hurt sciatic nerve while wearing freaking heels that put me down for the rest of the day. Back still hurts and will have to baby it rest of week. Aleve is my friend.
Oh, and the kid has started cussin’. Don’t have a clue where she gets that DAMN habit!?

Awesome blossom! I need to go hunting again. I did see your book at Walmart tucked in with Gena Showalter and Rachel Vincent. I’ll have to get back there with my camera and I need to hit B&N and Borders to see where BLOOD MAGIC is shelved!

Weekend? There was a weekend? Oh…yeah..Saturday brunch. I got distracted. LOL

Margaret, poor baby! I’m so sorry! High heels are torture enough, but hurting your sciatic nerve is mega misery! Hope you feel better soon!

LOL on your kid’s cussing…no idea where she got that. Probably it was the trolls :-)

Erika, thanks! I was so surprised when I saw the pic! I’d LOVE to see bestseller on my books someday…but I think that means I should be writing :-)

Can the flying monkeys take a run and check in on Margaret? See if she needs anything?

Silver, I saw your Sat brunch, but I was just cruising by on my way to doing some work, so I didn’t leave a comment (bad witch!). Might have left some drool though, sorry about that!

You saw the book in Wal Mart???? I haven’t seen it in any of the Wal Marts I’ve been in, so I’m jazzed to hear it! And now, I’m back to my nose to the grindstone mode. This next book is due Sept 1.

    Flying monkeys are en route.

September 1??? You better quit messing around lady! Are you close to being ready to turn it in?

Thanks y’all. I really appreciate your comments and concern. I HATE that I can’t sit for any period of time, thus less computer time.

I’ve never been to a chiropracter before, Erika, but I’m seriously considering it! The thing that scares me is how do I tell the scammers from the legit docs? Of course, if you know of a doc in Tulsa I’d be ahead of the game.

Oh, flying monkeys have arrived. Did you know they can use their feet to help massage the knot away? Oh, oh, yeah, right there. . .

Margaret for a certified chiropractor, not a quack, go to http://www.activator.com and search in your area for an activator doc. This is how I found my doc.

I knew the monkeys were useful, glad to hear they’re helping you out. Feel free to use them as long as you need to, just send them home when you’re done. :)

    I guess they’d be licensed, not certified…

Erika, when you say close…do you mean like having it written? Uh…no…not even close! As soon as I get these copy edits on Soul Magic done, I’m going to be working non-stop on book three!

Thanks for sending the monkeys to Margaret!

Margaret, I went down the stairs the hard way a while back, so I know what you mean. But you have to rest the nerve, and the more your rest it now, the sooner you’ll be back!

Glad the monkey feet help :-)

Erika, good advice! I’ve never been to a chiropractor either. I’m super cautious though because of my Rheumatoid.

Ah, the monkeys helped, Erika. They should be winging their way back home.

But I should warn you about a small incident. . .
the bigger one got jealous of the time the smaller one was spending working my knot out. Well, there was jumping up and down (my brand new leather couch), and screaming (all of us), hair pulling (mine), but when the monkey poo started flying (not mine), I said enough was enough!

I wanted to give them a shot of hootch to calm them down, but I was afraid they’d fly into the windows of a nearby office building (like a bird–SPLAT!) so I refrained.

Uh, you might want to tranq them for the night unless they burn up enough energy flying home to finally settle down.

Thanks for the loan. Maybe we’ll just stick to only one at a time the next time. :-)

Margaret – OMG! I am so sorry. Please send me the bill for the cleaning of the poo and any damamge to your couch and your hair. I thank you for the warning and will from now on only send one at a time. ;)

Margaret, give me tonight to do some checking. The DH is an attorney down here in OKC. He’s in a doctor’s depo so I can’t call him to see if he knows of someone but I’ll do some checking. We’ll get you fixed up!

Isn’t Erika just the best to share those monkeys? But yeah. Unless you’ve got them flying or drinking appletinis, best to keep them seperated!

Jen – I’m going hunting tomorrow. Expect photos!

Thanks, Silver! I appreciate your help.

Don’t worry about the damage, Erika. It was minimal. Besides, the massage was worth it. Next time, I’ll remember to have appletinis ready before they arrive.

Margaret, is it wrong that I’m laughing hysterically at the monkey’s antics?

And this just goes to show how we all NEED APPLETINIS!!!

I’m also thinking that you should have at least one appletini before walking in four inch high heels–it’ll relax the nerves and muscles :-)

Oh wow your book really looks good there. I also think it belongs there because I loved it and can’t wait until the next in the series. WTG Blood Magic!

We had two beautiful days over the weekend it hit in the 70’s yesterday but it is 40 today and cold and rainy!
