Dear John and Kate

Dear John and Kate,

john and katePlease go away. Please. I’m begging you. I’m so sick of you two chasing cameras and making dramatic accusations while your kids suffer. You two are worse than ambulance chasing lawyers, worse than politicians even.

Seriously. Try yoga, mediation, read a self help book, dig deep and try to find a shred of dignity. And here’s a thought, parent your eight kids.

Get help. Not from Dr. Phil, either.

Just. Go. Away.

Thank you,

Jen Lyon

I don’t watch tv hardly at all, unless there is a football game on or NASCAR, but I do catch bits and peices.

Shut and raise your kids already! Sheesh!

And I’m with you Cecile- is it Friday yet? I am soo ready for tomorrow. Is it appletini time or LIT time? Please????

Did you hear that LAW AND ORDER is doing a show titled LARRY PLUS 10? Dude named Larry has 10 kids and he’s trying to get a reality show. His wife is murdered. Guess who the primary suspect is?

I hope Jon and Kate don’t get any ideas….

PS: They make me want to stab myself. In the eye. Or them. Just sayin’! Where’re the appletinis! Need one STAT!

Why I don’t watch reality tv either. I’ve seen more than I care to just while checking out my groceries !

I never watched the show, okay, I watched it once so I could blog about what an idiot I think Jon is.

Maybe I’m a sap, but I can’t help but feel bad for Kate. Her husband cheated on her and the rest of the nation found out the same time she did!!! I don’t care if she was the worst wife on the planet, that just plain sucks. Nobody deserves that. I am however sick of seeing them.

I haven’t really followed anything on John and Kate. Not really my cup of tea. I have read the tabloid headlines when waiting in line at the grocery store and caught snippets on the news but honestly I just don’t care.

I do have to wonder though just what were they thinking? I have three children and though I love them dearly I soooooo do not want any more. I have enough grey hair as it is. I can not fathom what it would take to parent 8 children, god bless those with large families that do the job correctly.

Jon and Kate seem more worried about their fame and fortune than the lives of those children, makes one think they had that many as a get rich quick plan. I have not seen anything that makes me think they actually care about the kids welfare.

Almost Friday, can’t wait. Weekend will be busy though, like they say no rest for the wicked.

Cecile, I don’t watch reality TV either, never seen the show and yet I know way more about them than I want to.

I vote for starting the weekend early! Let’s roll out the appletinis!

Kira, from what I’ve seen, the NASCAR drives doing 200mph are saner than those two. I see WAY too much of them online.

Three votes so far to start the weekend early!

Erika I think I saw your blog on them. I’ve never seen the show, so you may have better insight. Sure, I feel sorry for any body who is cheated on. On the other hand she chose to play her life out on a very public stage.

Whenever the Wizard and I are watching a show where the wife is complaining about the husband, Wizard has one comment, “You married him.” He’s not super big on sympathy :-)

Val, I’m with you. I catch stuff online and like a sap, I sometimes read it. (When I’m stuck or procrastinating). I’d say you are correct in that they seem to be chasing fame. The poor kids!

Hope you’ll be busy doing fun things this weekend!

Jane, I hope so too. It can’t be easy for those eight kids.

My thoughts exactly. She says she needs money to support her kids, she’s a nurse and they are in demand.

Dru, good point! I wonder if she’d consider going back to work as a nurse? I didn’t even know she was a nurse.

But then, she’d need child care, and that’s a lot of kids to get child care for.
