Good News!
SOUL MAGIC hit # 71 on Bookscan!
Which means it cracked the top 100 of adult fiction.
YAY! And I know you guys played a big part it that! You all have been great about spreading the word! You all know I appreciate it, right? Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Now a side note: All this guest blogging? Fun, but totally exhausting! I’m not getting enough writing done! I need some serious magic!

uhm, the first paragraph of Demon Connection finaled in Lori Brighton’s first contest–her Kensington editor, Megan Records was the judge. Next up, send in first page and let the culling begin!
I’ve been suffering from ‘I suck as a writer’ syndrome, so this was the kick in the ass that I needed!

I am so excited for you, congratulations! I knew it would be great.
Uhmm … good news. I almost have my house put back together after our move,so much work ugh. Plus the kids are loving their new school which is a load off my mind.
I could use magic to get a copy of Soul Magic. I stopped at the store last night and again they did not have a copy! I think maybe I am the victim of a hex, no book until all the work is done, but hey this witch could use the break.

My good news… Hummm… It is almost Friday! Halfing Witch can now drive herself to golf practice after school – instead of me going to bring her.
Need magic… To pick up Halloween decorations/clean attic and get ready for the holidays! Is that too much to ask!
And Soul Magic… just keeps getting better and better… Although I do want to witch slap Silver (in the book, hee hee… I love my real life Silver =)) Better and Better… Hotter and Hotter!!! And Sutton is still under the blankets with me… Oh yea… And Axel!! Hey, I left the worthy guy from yesterday for everyone… I haven’t claimed Key, Ram or Phoenix yet… Although… hee hee!!! Sneaky witch that I am!

Woohoo! Congratulations. I haven’t picked up a copy of Soul Magic yet, but I can’t wait to read it. Soon.
The only good news I have is that I’m sticking to my word count goals. Last night I busted it out. (Dinner was a disaster, but the words got written. So yay.)

Margaret, Congratulations! That’s great news that your first paragraph finaled!
I talked to Megan Records on the phone a couple months ago. I called her about some business with one of my older books there at Kensington, left a message and I swear she called back in less than two minutes! I was impressed. And she was really nice.

I’m so sorry you’re having trouble finding the book. That’s another reason I’m surprised it hit the list, it’s been a little scarce in some places.

Cecile, thank you! However, I’m dead serious about you guys helping! There’s a lot of really good books out there, but without a “push” they don’t get noticed. And you all provided the “push!”
I LOVED when my kids could drive themselves to various places! Great news!
I think it’s perfectly reasonable to expect magic to clean up after your fabulous party
