What TV Show Are You?

One of Wizard’s favorite TV shows right now is RULES OF ENGAGEMENT. He says that we are like the lead characters Jeff and Audrey.  He says this like it’s a compliment to us.

I roll my eyes.

Wizard defends himself. “No really, you’re witty like Audrey on the show.”

Okay, now this is TOO easy. Wizard just set a trap from himself. “But do I LOOK like her?”

Wizard is standing in front of the fireplace looking at a magazine or something while we’re talking.  He looks up in wide eyed panic. “You’re funny! She’s funny! See the resemblance?”

I narrow my eyes at the evasive desperation in his voice and go for the kill.  “But am I as hot as her?”

The light finally dawns. “That was a trap!”

I laugh.  “Jeff would have seen that trap coming. You’re slipping, Wizard.”  And I walk away, all smug and stuff except…

He could have LIED and said I was as hot or hotter.  Damn it, now Wizard is ruining my smug moment! So not fair!

So what TV show resembles you?

I don’t know what show I am. I know used to be a lot like a thinner version of Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds. Although even when I was a computer consultant, I never had her mad skills. I’m a little like Bones, a little like Reba, a bit like Meredith Grey and sometimes a little too much like House. What I’d really love is to be more like Abby from NCIS and less like Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote. And I’d be ecstatic is I lived somewhere a lot less like Mayberry. ;o)

    B.E., you crack me up!

I faintly resemble Jamie Curtis on her Activia commercials, only my apron would say, “NO Activia!”

Twenty years ago, I could body double for Alex Keaton’s mom on Family Ties, and did actually when Meredith Baxter was filming nearby. Now, I look far more like Penelope on Criminal Minds but with NO computer skills. I’d love to be Beckett on Castle. I can work through a case like she does, so maybe that’s who I’ll pretend to be. ;)

Silver, “No Activia!” Snerk–almost like no action?

    You body doubled? Cool!

I’d love to be as smart and witty as Beckett on Castle, have the awesome mad skills as Garcia on Criminal Minds, be as comfortable in my own skin as Catherine on CSI and have the eyelashes of Emily Prentiss on Criminal Minds.

Who do I actually resemble? Anybody watch the show HUGE?

I haven’t a clue as to what TV show person I’d resemble. Maybe on a show I don’t watch? LOL

I did, Jen! I’d done some commercial work for a local station and when the L’Oreal commercial she did came out, people thought it was me. My commercial (for a Japanese restaurant, lol) was running when the production company came to town. They contacted me and asked if I’d like to be her stand-in. I spent a lot of time standing in front of the camera as they set up lights and stuff. Mostly boring but I got paid and it was fun to see how a show was shot. Problem is, that was so long ago, I don’t remember which movie it was. LOLOL! (I was in my 20s so actually was 30 years ago.)

Erika, everyone loves Castle! I really have to watch that show!

You’re not HUGE, now stop. I’m huge. Sigh.
