Wizard hid my Kindle from me! I walked into the family room, and it was GONE!
But of course, I handled it with grace and maturity. I looked at Wizard and said, “GIVE IT BACK!”
“What?” He looks up at me from where he’s sitting all smug.
“My Kindle! I want it now!” (uhh, yeah, super mature!)
“Did you lose it? Then he LAUGHED!
And just as I was ready to zap a beehive onto his lap, he relented and gave me a hint. “Think Witch, what did you just yell at me about?”
I was really considering that beehive. “My kindle! You stole it!”
“Before that,” he says all calm and reasonable.
I thought…. “I told you to stay out of the fruit snacks…oh!” I ran to the cupboard and found my Kindle next to the snacks. I grabbed up my Kindle, hugged it and did a happy dance. “All this because I told you to stay out of the fruit snacks?” He would hold my Kindle hostage? What kind of man does that?
“Nah…I was just bored. There’s nothing on TV. And you’re entertaining as hell when you have a hissy fit.”
Sigh. So how was your weekend?

Oh, that Wizard. He should know better than to mess with a witch’s Kindle. ;o)
Well, all the teams I picked won their playoff games. I made a writing goal yesterday and surpassed it. (Mainly because I put it on Facebook and I didn’t want to look bad.) I’m currently building up to the climax of this WIP and hoping to be done with the first draft by the end of the month. And it’s raining in here in CO.

What a jokester…did you get even?
My weekend was okay. I went to a wake on Friday night and that wasn’t fun, but I got to see a lot of old friends. The rest of the weekend I did a whole lot of nothing and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Tonight hubby and I are going to the Barrett-Jackson Gala with my best friend and her boy toy, er, I mean boyfriend. I’ve never been before but I’m looking forward to it.

I’m slow getting around today. It’s definitely Monday! I had chapter meeting this weekend and we talked about goals. Yesterday, I did like ten loads of laundry but they’re all folded and put away! (That was a resolution/goal from the new year–don’t let laundry languish in the basket!)
I also reread a MS that’s been stuck in the fridge (way beyond the back burner, lol) and spent part of the evening and this morning thinking about where to go next. I was awake at 6:00 but couldn’t go back to sleep so I snuggled with the critters and thought about the plot. When I got up, I followed through on a goal and got about 1200 words written on that MS–which is why I’m late visiting.
I think you need to plot something to get back at the Wiz. He is a bad Wiz for teasing you!

Silver, the fridge, LOL! I have those too! But yay you using your morning snuggles with the critters to plot and then following through!
I should get even with Wiz, but was so amused it cracked me up.
