Let’s Share Good News

Wow, it ‘s March 1st today! What happened to February? It’s like I blinked and an entire month is gone. Is it just me? Anyway…it’s so much fun when the reviews start to come in! Publisher’s Weekly says about NIGHT MAGIC:

Lyon continues the Wing Slayers series (Blood Magic, Soul Magic) with a strong installment sure to please returning readers. Ailish Donovan was tricked by her mother, Maeve, into being handfasted with a demon at age 16. Shunned by Circle Witches because of the “witch karma” that left her blind, Ailish channeled her anger into a kickboxing career. Two weeks before her 24th birthday, when she must complete the bonding, Ailish plans to break the handfast or die. Phoenix Torq, one of the Wing Slayer Hunters, might be able to help, but he can’t decide whether Ailish is good or evil. Meanwhile, Maeve and the demon Asmodeus resort to trickery, threats, and violence. Lyon peppers the love story with teasing humor and strong sexuality, though the beautiful imagery sometimes edges into purple territory. New readers face only a short learning curve and will finish the book enthused. (Apr.)

So that’s my good news for the day, what’s is your good news?

Awesome review! I can’t wait for the 22nd. But I have to, so I’ll just sit here and pout. :pout: ;o)

Good news? I’m alive. My family is well. No pending disasters are on the horizon.

Geez, I sound like Eeyore. Let’s try something else… The sunrise is gorgeous this morning, the predicted high is in the sixties, and I’m almost done with the blanket I’m crocheting for my sister. Yay. =o)

Good news? I’ve survived another year. I have a novella coming out in two months and the cover didn’t suck. And I get a free sub sandwich for lunch because it’s my birthday. :D

Oooooo Da Lolly!!! I need to get back into your series – you know the deal ‘so many books, so little time’ :) I’m so VERY happy for you Jen.
Have a great day everyone – wish I had some good news to share but I’ll throw another saying at ya’ll ‘no news is good news’. And most times I thoroughly believe that!

B.E., the release date is coming fast now–just 21 more days :-)

Actually, I’ll take “health and no disasters” as good news. But beautiful sunrise and 60 degrees isn’t bad either! Congrats on almost having the blanket done, your sister will be happy!

Silver, awww you’re defending me! LOL! The purple prose comment is fair, and so it doesn’t bother me. Especially since some of the imagery she’s talking about is, literally, purple :-)

And your cover is good! I only saw it briefly yesterday…somewhere…I got a phone call right then and was sidetracked. But I’ll cruise by your site to see it again! Congrats!

Ban, thanks! No news can be good news, but it can also be either boring or frustrating too.

Man I hear you on too many books, not enough time! I have a towering stack I want to read!

Zoe, thanks so much, both on the review and the preorder!

Getting stuff done around the house is a good excuse, but still, I want you to have good news in your life too :-)

    Ohhh….appletinis and chocolate…a smashing idea!

Have a Happy Birthday tomorrow! You sound excited.

And good news….hrmm, well I’m half lucid today, hehe. And my and your friend M. Golla is coming to visit me Thursday. I don’t get visitors often. That makes me smile.

And the sky is a gorgeous blue with the sun shining brightly. I can FEEL spring in the air!!
