Two New Releases!

It’s release day for a couple of my friends. First up:

ETERNAL KISS by Laura Wright. Click on her name to go to her website and see her book trailer. It’s all kinds of awesome!

Laura and I have been friends and critique partners for years. We met at our local RWA chapter, both of us had recently sold, but our books weren’t out yet.  I am so incredibly proud of her.  Laura was a really good writer when I met her, but she’s worked her butt off and grown  into a fabulous writer!

Eternal Kiss is the second book in her Mark of the Vampire series.  The quick blurb:

Raised by the Breed, Nicholas Roman wants to stop the Eternal Order of Vampires from controlling his life, and using other males from his bloodline-including possibly his son-for their vicious reign. Only a beautiful vampire stranger can help him. But what are her true motives?

Also out today is:

MISSING by Debra Webb, one of my Murder She Writes gal-pals!

Deb is one of the most amazing women you will ever meet!

The blurb on MISSING is

“I need your help. Please.

And with those words, tough-guy Jonathan Foley melted. It had been years since he’d seen the only woman to climb his wall of solitude…months since he’d joined an elite team of operatives called the Equalizers and hidden away his secrets. But now Melissa Shepherd needed him—and there was no denying her.

Melissa’s niece was missing and she knew only Jonathan could see past the lies in her small Alabama hometown and find Polly. Searching alongside the man she’d loved and lost would prove difficult…and downright dangerous. But she’d have to—because for the little girl, time was running out….

Okay that’s what I have for you guys today! Anyone have a new book they want to tell us about?

Lora Leigh’s NAVARRO’S PROMISE is out today too. I preordered it for my Nook. But I’m right in the middle of Nina Bruhns VAMPIRE SHEIKH, the third in her Immortal Sheiks trilogy for Harlequin Nocturne. I’d downloaded the first one a few months ago and never gotten to it. I finally read it this weekend and had to get the other two. Next week is Nora Roberts CHASING FIRE. I have that preordered too. I have a whole big list of books for the next several months. Way too many to name. There is this one, though, that I’m really looking for to…Maybe you’ve heard of it…SINFUL MAGIC. Seven more weeks *pout* That’s just way too far away :(

I am looking forward to Eternal Kiss, I will have to download it on my Kindle. I am still looking for some books that came out last week and I am so frustrated it is driving me crazy. I don’t have any books that I can think of that are new that I would recommend. I’ve spent March trying to catch up with all the new releases this month, it seems that it was release overload this month. I think I had a total of 9 books come out just in current series that I read, not counting all the new ones I wanted to check out. YIKES!

Both of those sound great. Too bad my TBR pile is so huge I don’t even want to think about new releases. Well, except for yours, which I’m still waiting for the postal person to deliver. Why does the USPS always seem to run slower when I’m expecting new books???

Right now, I’m reading Red Hot Fury by Kasey MacKenzie – bought back in January. It’s a paranormal about a magical investigator who’s a Fury and someone is trying to kill her. I’m only about a quarter of the way in, but so far, so good.

Laura Wright’s book is on its way to me now, along with Lora Leigh’s. I also have Deidre Knight’s – Red Mortal and Lauren Dane’s – Mesmerized , along with a few others heading my way.

I just started J R Wards Lover Unleashed yesterday and Larissa Ione’s – Eternal Rider is sitting on my TBR pile. They both came out last week.

I agree, March and April slammed me with new books by authors I buy religiously. And a good percentage of them are ones I want to read NOW, lol. Some months its easier to put them in order of what to read first.

Just finished Roxanne St. Claire’s SHIVER OF FEAR. It’s a terrific suspense with LOTS of romance. Classic Rocki. I’m about 1/3 way through Larissa Ione’s ETERNAL RIDER. I made Lawyer Guy hide the Kindle from me so I can get some work done! I definitely have to go back and read all her Demonica books now.

Looking forward to both Laura’s and Deb’s books! They’re on the wish list for when book budget $$ refreshes. :D

Dawn, crap, I didn’t even know Nina had an Immortal Sheik Trilogy out! I know Nina from years ago when we both went to the same RWA chapter. I have to catch up!

I’ve heard good things about NAVARRO’S PROMISE. I’ll have to get that once I put more money on my kindle.

You know, it does seem like a long way off for SINFUL!

Amanda, you’re not alone in being frustrated. Fewer books are being printed, Wal Mart and Target have cut WAY back on their stock, so finding books in really hard. I hope you can locate the once you’re looking for!

It feels like overload right now because we’re in the release months for the bigger authors.

Val, yep, it’s been huge releases! I was surprised when they stuck my books ino with the heavy hitters! You’ll love Laura’s book!

I’m reading ETERNAL RIDER right now. Haven’t gotten JR’s book yet.

And there are worse things that having too many good books to read, LOL!

B.E., sorry about the delay in getting my book! Hope it arrives soon!

Red Hot Fury sounds like a lighter fun read.

Silver, yay on Rocki’s book! I’m reading ETERNAL RIDER too, bu thave had zero time which is frustrating. My kindle is lonely!

So does that work to have lawyer guy hide your kindle?

I’m so with you on the book budget! I buy amazon gift cards for my kindle and budget that way. Sounds weird, but it works!

Jenn and Silver – I am also 1/3 through ETERNAL RIDER. I hate having to put it down. Too bad families have to be taken care of ;).

I’m behind on blogs but wanted to drop in and say ‘Hi’ – anyway, no new books … just the same ones that are collecting dust on my TBR pile ’cause I sorta behind in my reading too *le sigh*

Silver, that’s what I figured, I know all Wizard’s hiding places too.

I love the gift card method, really. I have to be selective :-)
