Bookscan and Bailey Time!
First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who bought Sinful Magic! The book hit the Bookscan Bestseller List (in the top 100) and I’m thrilled!
Yesterday, my youngest son and Bailey came over, completely surprising me. Naturally, I got no work done. Here’s a pic of Bailey later in the day–he was tired and chewing on his stick while Mini B watches:

I had coffee with my girlfriend and then did all the normal everyday stuff.

I worked, oh what joy. Yet another thing that interferes with my reading. Then last night my friend and I got to meet Laurell K Hamilton. Oh what a treat that was. It was at one of the indie theatres in Dallas and we were front row center. She was wonderful, she did Q&A for 2 hours and then took pictures with the 150 people there. We all got copies of the books that she had pre-signed. I wanted her to sign my Kindle cover but she wasn’t signing anything, maybe another time.

Awww Bailey dog looks as cute as ever. i had a pretty lazy morning yesterday, then in the afternoon i had the doctors (BOOOO) and then i went to the cinema last night to see the new x-men film.

Awww, Bailey’s so cute with his mini-me.
Everything’s a blur. If it weren’t for my old to-do list, I’d have no idea what I did. I ran a lot of errands, read a little, ordered books (still waiting on Sinful Magic to be delivered), printed and mailed senior pics and grad announcements for the kid (when did she get old enough to graduate?). I’m hoping life evens out after college orientation next week so I can get back to doing writerly stuff again.

Congrats on the top 100!!! I worked yesterday and then cleaned the house since we are leaving tomorrow to take the kiddies camping!!! Bailey dog is so adorable, I can not wait to get a puppy, just don’t know what kid of dog i would want! Everbody have a wonderful weekend, i’ll be back on the blog monday!!

Ok I went to Books a Million. Pay day is friday and I thought that I would float a check till then and pick up Sinful Magic. The universe was not liking me. I had 3 associates searching for the one copy the computer said they had in the store. Not there. Ok I will not be bad and I will go tomorrow when the money is in the bank and the book will be there. Some times my husband thinks I am a romance junkie who needs her fix. He is right. I need my peice of fantasy to make it through reality. Well Key and I will be doing laundry saturday morning.
