What Are You Reading?

I read just over one book while on vacation, mostly on the plane. Otherwise, we were too busy or someone (Wizard!) chats when I try to read. But since I last mentioned it, I think I’ve read two Lori Foster books:

WHEN YOU DARE, book one in her Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor Series. This book I liked a lot! I was drawn in and enjoyed the interplay between the hero and heroine.

TRACE OF FEVER, book two in the same series.  This one was okay, but I didn’t get as drawn in. I had trouble believing the heroine’s background and motivation.

But I think the third book, SAVOR THE DANGER, looks interesting. Haven’t read it yet, but I probably will.

I’ve just started reading Nalini Singh’s ARCHANGEL’S CONSORT.  I’m hoping to get a little quiet reading time to get further into the book!

Okay, your turn! What are you reading?

Right now, I’m reading Divergent by Veronica Roth – a YA dystopian. The jury’s still out, but so far, so good.

B.E., it’s amazing how many of us read YA these days. I’ve heard of the title, but haven’t checked it out.

Jen – I do like it but I liked the first two books too. My only problem is trying to figure out some of the British text.

Reading? What’s that? LOL I’ve written 43K words in last three week. Plus critiqued my CPs work. That’s the most I’ve read. I still have BLOODY GOOD from the library, and finally moved to the top of the list for Glen Duncan’s THE LAST WEREWOLF. I must find time to read! ASAP.

I’m reading Kirsten White’s SUPERNATURALLY. Before that, I read Marjorie M Liu’s TIGER’S EYE. Both good books.

Next week, I have three much awaited books to get. Shannon K Butcher’s BLOOD HUNT and Angela Knight’s MASTER OF SHADOWS, I already preordered for my Nook. Sherrilyn Kenyon’s RETRIBUTION comes out as well and I’ll be going to Ann Arbor to see her. She’s signing at a Barnes and Noble there on Tuesday :)

Jen, ARCHANGEL’S CONSORT is really good. I think you’ll like it.

Silver – I hope you find some time to read soon!

Silver, that’s an amazing amount of words for three weeks! You’re really on a tear! Plus reading your CP’s work…you’re in fire!

Dawn, your next week’s books sound great!

Whenever I find time to read–something comes up. Someone calls, Wizard needs something–it’s like a conspiracy :-)

Zoe, I was just thinking I might enjoy re-reading the HP books. The final one bored me, but the rest held my interesting.

I’ve read both When You Dare and Trace of Fever. I loved the first book and enjoyed the second, but I agree the second fell a tad short in something. Both were still good reads. I can’t wait to read the second.

But I’m currently reading Wild Card by Lora Leigh. I FINALLY got around to it. XD

Savor the Danger is probably my favorite, although When You Dare was great too! I love Lori Foster! Her books are great! Anyway I am in a slump and its getting depressing. Nothing on my shelves can grab, let alone keep, my attention, nothing on my nook sounds appealing, and nothing at the library is doing it for me either. I think I’m going through B&N withdrawls since the hubby won’t let me buy any new books still! So I’ve been walking around the house in a daze, I pace trying to find something to do but I’ve cleaned it all, organized it all, and reorganized it all. Since the buying ban was put in place I have made a few gallons of ice cream, baked, cooked, and generally drove myself crazy! The workout is getting no where! LOL If I keep it up the hubby is going to be begging me to start buying books again, so things may be looking up!
