FYI: Changes and Blogs Vanishing
I know, it’s a Saturday, what am I doing posting?
This is just and FYI post 
You may notice that yesterday’s post (with comments) and a bunch of other posts have vanished. I’m doing that on purpose. I’m cleaning out the blog.
I’ll tell you all the reason on Monday.
That’s the end of the FYI post.

Aww, I think I know what you might be doing because I spent most of last night and part of today doing that to my blog. And I assume a lot of other people are doing it, too.

yep, yep, yep – though I must confess, (coming from an art background), I always wondered how/why people were able to post pics on their blogs. I guess, like the blog writter in your link, I believed they were covered under the disclaimer …

Ban, I just don’t want to infringe on anyone’s rights. Ever. I believe in that, so I just deleted everything I could find.

sounds about right to me – I went back and deleted all pics from my blog that aren’t mine. INCLUDING cover pics of books I’d read/discussed. I’m not sure if they are included as there are hundreds of book-review blogs out there that post cover pics but … as you said – I don’t want to infringe

Ban, you should be okay with bookcovers as long as you don’t change the image. They re meant to be shown kind of thing. So that should be safe.
