Holy Cats, it’s AUGUST 1st!!! How did that happen? Hey, so do you guys want to see what I look like exhausted from conference and wearing my new glasses (as opposed to the contacts I usually wear)? Promise you won’t laugh? Okay, fine, go ahead and laugh…
Yeah, I know, tacky (strap showing!) and tired. Go ahead and laugh. Wizard blinked once when I came home, then recovered and told me I looked...waited for it…sexy. SNORT! I love a man who will lie to me with a straight face about how I look! And yes, I am THAT blind in case you were wondering. I actually see better out of contacts which is why I wear them most of the time.
Moving on now.
I’ve been trying to work on CAGE MAGIC, and so Linc is on my mind. So when searching Big Stock to find images to buy the rights to share the pic here, this is what I came up with:
He looks a lot like Linc to me. But what do YOU think? Is he Wing Slayer Worthy?
P.S., Ram, Shayla and Ginny (from the eNovella FORBIDDEN MAGIC) are on my mind too as they are very much in this book…their story is still unfolding.

Twenty three yr old took me out ( with no make up on) for my Mother’s day margarita tonight. He pulls out his ID and I begin to order and the server says, “I need to see your too.” I’m floored and tell her how kind she is since I’ll be 50 in two weeks. She says I’m aging really well. Happy happy happy dance

I think you look awesome. I’ve wanted something close to your hairstyle for years. Ship me your stylist. The people out here in back of beyond can’t recreate a style to save themselves. Half the time, I’m lucky if it’s even. And those glasses are darling. I doubt seriously that Wizard was just saying you were sexy to make you feel better.
I dunno about the guy. He’s just not doing it for me this morning. Of course, after watching all the Olympians swimming and doing water polo, I might be leaning toward a different physique right now. ;o)

Look at you, skinny-minny! It was soooo great to see you and hang out a little bit at RWA! You made me blush talking about my dialogue for the panel. It was a breakthrough moment for me on the WIP so I don’t know how much it rocked, but it will by the time I finish that scene!
If that pic is on Big Stock, I can tell I’m going to have to spend some time over there! I’m getting ready to catch up and start turning my blog bare for the time being.
This makes me have a sad but it’s necessary! And the right thing to do.
As for the guy? Oh, yeah! He could be Linc so he gets a big thumbs up from me. Now, I need cookies and appletinis! (And that Wiz is sooo smart sometimes!

Ya you might have been tired when you got home but I bet it was a good tired. Your pics from monday showed you were really having a good time. It makes me so excited to be going to the readers appreciation weekend in Sept. The weekend includes a costume party so I am trying to come up with something fun and dare I say a little sexy. Anything would probbly be better than my usual frompy social worker look.
The guy is hot. A good Linc. Thank you for not leaving Ram out though if he gets to lonely he can always come my way.

Wizard was so lying to me. I know he was. He felt sorry for me because I was dog sick when I had to choose them. I literally just let the guy there pick them out. Also I have to have the bigger frames because I need progressive lenses.

B.E., okay your comment on my hairstyle made my laugh my butt off. My hair is a PIA and does whatever the heck it wants. That might have been a random good day. Most of the days at conference it did nothing.
But I had my stylist for a million years (which is 26 years in real life) and it’s never her fault that my hair hates me. My hair likes her and does whatever she wants it to. I can’t ship her to you, she has a ton of clients here who would go on a witch hunt if I did!

The most fun for me was listening to everyone’s piece–written in five minutes!
So not skinny, and can’t worry about it this week. Although I am going back to the gym and finding out just how weak I am from the stupid ass (sorry!) virus.
Blog Blues is going around. Sigh. But it is the right thing to do. I’m slowly rebuilding my stash, but it’s going to take a while. You’ll do it too. The frustrating this is that all this takes away from writing!
Linc could use some cookies and appletinis too–he’s currently sitting on a bathroom floor snarling at me that I’ve put him between a rock and a hard place. I told him the man up and quit whining. Then I made sure he couldn’t leave the bathroom to come after me cuz he looked totally pissed.

Kat, what kind of costumes? Is there a theme? It sounds like so much fun!
You are right–it was a good tire. I was more tired from insomnia (normal for me) than anything else. I made sure I had a couple hours of downtime a day in my room, as per my promise to Wizard. But I got so much out of the conference.
Glad you like the pic! And I can’t forget Ram. His story is so strong in my head, I wish I could tell it, but Linc and Eli need their stories too.

Jen, you look great! Isn’t it funny how we see ourselves through a much more critical eye than others do. And, I still maintain that glasses have attitude. ( I had LASIK a few years ago, but old age is seriously catching up so I’ll be back to glasses again soon.). I only wish I looked that good after last weeks Worlds ice skating competition. I was deadbeat tired! But, my baby came home with 2 first places and a 5th so it was worth it. (yes, bursting with pride…this NEVER happens to us!) And, no she isn’t world class skating material, we were just lucky to have this international competition held locally this year.
Most importantly though….yes i do see Linc in this guy. And I’m so with you B.E., these swimmers are drool worthy. But, seriously what were the US male divers thinking of with those mini brief things…EEEK.
