Weekend Roundup
There isn’t much to tell. Dentist appointment went fine. I’ve been plagued by insomnia so I tried to get some downtime this weekend to see if it helps. What’s not going to help is skipping the gym since I’ll be without a car for a few days.
Having two book s haunting me probably isn’t helping either. Especially since I’m waiting for something on Linc’s book.
So let’s not talk about me. Let’s talk about YOU! Tell me about your weekend. I really want to know.

Sorry to hear about the insomnia. Wanting to sleep and not being able to is one of the things that bugs me most. I hope you get your car back soon because exercise does help with insomnia.
Now, don’t let those books haunt you. They’ll be fine like all the others :).
My weekend didn’t go as planned. Never made it out to get my cheese and cider. The TV broke and I’m a news junkie so I had to research TV’s and then we went and bought one. It’s a Smart TV and it’s too smart for me. I’m having a heck of a time figuring it all out. It will come especially if one of the boys would just sit down and help me out :).

Me? I finished the rewrite on Saturday. Rewarded myself by watching football. Watched my team get walloped. Then I really treated myself by taking Sunday off to read. Today is back at it. Oh and the Kid is over whatever virus she had and will be back at work today. Yay!

Jen, sorry about the insomnia. I sympathize! Cheese and cider sounds really good, Viki, especially if the weather will cool off again. Erf on the TV, though. Make the boys explain it to you! B.E., I’m waving pompoms on your rewrite! Now get those words cut. Tighten it up so that the story sings in three-part harmony!
I actually had a weekend I remember.
Saturday, Lawyer Guy and I ran errands and brought home fence panels to repair part of the fence in the back yard that was OLD and falling apart. It got hot so we decided to wait until Sunday to put it up. Of course, the fact that we stopped at what we thought was sort of a thrift shop on the way home didn’t help. Turns out, it’s more an antique store and the owners do estate sales. We spent money. 
We brought home a new dining room table and chairs and a leather club chair and ottoman. I’ll be posting pictures over at my place later this week.
That meant we had to do the fence yesterday. AFTER another trip to Home Depot.
Fence is in. Furniture is in. I did no writing but this is my only stop before I get to work. Just as soon as I get some more coffee…. :yawn:

Sounds like we all were busy.
Viki- When I get frustrated with the electronics that are “smarter” then me I just unplug them and pick up a book.
BE- Sorry your team lost but great way to celebrate the writing.
Silver- Cool I love finding those kind of shops, but only when I have some extra to spend there.
The weather here was perfect. The beginning of fall and I am so ready for the summer heat to be gone. I did finish my coustume and practiced my dramatic make up. My my daughter thought it was so cool she asked if I could make her look like her favorite star wars character. I turned her face green and put on the geometric designs and she was happy all day. As soon as I get the hub to down load the pictures I will send them to you Jen. And yes if you are not afraid of scaring off the witches after you see the pictures you can definately share them.

I love you guys! If I weren’t a news junkie I could for go the TV. But now hubs has me recording REVOLUTION. He really enjoyed it. I just kept thinking – What’s Bella’s dad doing killing people? hee hee.

Viki, totally there with you on the TV! We bought one a while back…and I can turn it on. If I hit the wrong button, it’s ugly. Why does it have to be so hard?
Now my iPhone is easy enough for me
But I didn’t use all the functions.
I didn’t even go to the gym today due while I have the car because I have so much to do before I lose it. (It’s just a small thing we’re having done to it.) But I could swim so I don’t have a really excuse. I just LIKE going to the gym early in the morning a few days a week.

Silver I am green with jealousy over the new dining room table and club chair! Two things I want but haven’t gotten out to look for! Great finds for you, yay! Can’t wait to see the pics!
And good that you go the fence done and can forget about it now.
