Kat is in the House!

Kat is in the house sharing her costume for the Reader’s Appreciation Weekend.  The costume kicks butt, in fact it’s so cool it  kicked the Wing Slayer Worthy candidate from today to Friday’s post! LOL!

And now, here is Kat in her Futuristic Air Elemental costume.

First, this is her boot that kicked the WSW Candidate to Friday!

Love the hair with the makeup! I’m very impressed!

A close up of the intricate design:

The whole costume, how awesome is this?

Okay witches, I officially nominal Kat as our Futuristic Air Element Witch! Are you all with me?

And thank you Kat so much for sharing!

YES! Kat is our Futuristic Air Element Witch. I love those boots too :).

I’m bumming. The hot water tank is leaking all over the place and I still have 5 1/2 hours before I can call a plumber let alone get one out here :(. Wish me luck in getting it fixed and cleaning up the mess :).

    Have a great day!

I second that vote. Awesome costume, Kat!

Dang, that sucks about your water heater, Viki. Good luck. And have a better rest of the day. :hugs:

Last night I finished reading the latest book in Seanan McGuire’s October Daye series – Ashes of Honor. :gush alert: Everyone needs to read this series. It’s so wicked awesome and wonderful. Seanan makes me wonder if I can ever write that well and then makes me want to try. :end gush:

*shakes pompoms* Woot! Kat, you are rockin’ the costume, witch! I third the nomination. All in favor, say “Aye!”

Oh, bummer, Viki. Been there. I had to sop towels for almost a month before we could afford to replace the tank. Luckily, mine is out in the garage so the interior wasn’t in danger. I feel your pain and lack of sleep!

B.E., you find the most intriguing series. I want to come peruse your bookshelves!

Happy Hump Day, witches. We’ll have a party on Friday with the new Wing Slayer Hunter candidate! ;)

Thanks guys! The plumbers are here right now. Silver – I can’t imagine it leaking for a month – wow. We’re very fortunate that we can take care of it right away. Seeing the cost it makes me wonder how people afford anything. Oh, I don’t miss out on sleep. I’m up around 12:15 every day. Hubs snores so I lift weights ;).

    Enjoy the day :)!

Viki, sorry about your water heater! Jeeze, how do you go back to sleep after lifting weights? I’m afraid to do anything at night when I’m awake, or I’d never go back to sleep.

Jenn – I don’t go back to sleep. I run on 4 hours sleep.

B.E., love your gushing! I hopped over to Amazon to look at McGuire series–I may have to buy that first one! 14 years as a fish? LOLOL!!! I’m going to take a look at it. I have turned into such a lazy reader, it’s pathetic so thanks for the rec!

Keep writing! We won’t let you stop :-)

Viki, I want to do that! It’d drive Wizard out of his mind, but I would love to quit fight so hard for sleep to function.

But I’m really glad it works for you!

Silver, a whole month with a leaking water heater? You have courage! I’d have worried every night it was going to go from leak to gusher.

But I understand the $$, so many things we’ve put off for that reason.

Thank you all for the votes of confidence. I am just so excited to be having a girls weekend with things I love- friends, books and food.

Viki if my hub snored I think I might be tempted to drop the weights on him so I could get back to sleep. I am jelous that you even found a plumber that would come in one day. My hub is the fix it man so if anything breaks I have to wait for him to get around to fixing it. Which at times takes as long as it did for Silver’s water heater to be fixed. Some times even longer I will not publicly mention the entire list of things needing fixed that he has not gotten to.

Jen send Ram I am packing for Pittsburg and have some suite cases he could carry for me. :-D

Uhm…Kat? I’ve been waiting for five years–FIVE YEARS–for my husband to finish the shower in the master bedroom. Wanna compare lists?

Have a great time! Be sure to come back and tell us all about it.

Kat, I you have a safe and fabulous trip! Your costume will be a hit!

Wizard’s pretty good about fixing things–I’m the slacker :-(
