Wing Slayer Worthy

I’m at a fork in the road, and am going to have to make a decision about my career.  Unfortunately, my crystal ball is cloudy and no help at all.  I hate when that happens. Sigh.

In other news, I just got the samples of my cover for my secret project…but we won’t talk about that since it drives some of you crazy.

I wasted so much time yesterday trying to find a WSW candidate yesterday. I did find one–for #$60.00 bucks.  Ha, I don’t think so! So I’m going to pull this guy out reserve files. He’s my model for Key’s trading card:

What do you think, Wing Slayer Worthy?

I’ll give him a thumbs up even though I don’t get to see his face. His arms are nice.

Career choices/changes are hard. I’m sure you’ll make the right decision.

Those cookies of John’s were awful in my opinion. I was so excited to eat one and then I put it in my mouth and YUCK! Not only did “Mr. Healthy” use whole grain flour but 100% honey and no sugar. He thinks they’re wonderful. He can eat them. When I want a cookie I want a cookie not health food – MEN!

    Have a great day.

Viki my husband has been trying to cut back on sugar and all that healthy stuff. He has found that he can subsitute about 3/4 of the regular sugar but still needs that little bit for the recipie to work.

Worthy- A little mystery in a guy can be sexy.

Jen I hear you on the crystal ball. I was pissed when mine turned out to be a snow globe of Santa and a Snow man at the beach. Talk about mis-direction 8-O

Especially in the fall I am reminded of Robert Frost’s poem “The Road not Taken” whenever I have to try to figure what direction to go in. Although any movement forward is better than going in circles. Though some times it is good to stand still and wait. Boy I am doing some indecisive rambling today

He looks like he just did something naughty. ;o) So, yeah, he’s worthy.

Sorry you’re at a fork and don’t know which tine to take. Yay for cover samples, even if they’re sekrit. Your sekracy isn’t driving me crazy – well, any more crazy than I already am. LOL

I’m always reminded of Yogi Berra’s immortal, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it.” You have the Wiz, the Boys, Biker Witch, and your besties to help you sort through things.

As for worthy? Oh, yeah. He’s a keeper!

As for the cookies…ugh! Baking requires a light touch and making up recipes or converting recipes can be disastrous. There are sugar alternatives–Splenda and Stevia that you can buy in bulk and substitute with little ill-effect. You can shift the wheat flour to “lighten” it for a more delicate batter, and you can also split white and wheat half and half. Baking is a chemical process far more than some people realize. And shutting up now. Y’all aren’t here for a cooking lesson.

Jen, you are hereby renamed to Teaser Witch! Not fair that you aren’t sharing the Sooper Sekrit Project! :-P

Hang in there, m’friend. Let me know if I can help. :)

Viki, there’s nothing more cruel than cookie disappointment! I’m so sorry you’ve had to suffer that :-(

Silver and Kat have some great suggestions. But personally I think you need to get to a bakery ASAP and buy a cookie!

Not being able to see the guy’s face is a drawback.

I pretty much made my decision unless something radical changes.

Kat, LOLOL on the snowglobe! I have a cat one that was a joke from my son. I would send him endless LOL cat pics, and he’d send me pictures of cat sweaters he was going to buy me for Christmas. We are a seriously twisted family. And wow, I wandered way off point there!

I love your rambling :-) For me, the most important thing in making a decision is making sure it’s one I can live with and own. So that’s what I did, I guess.

The guy does have a little mystery going on!

Silver, thanks. I chose a path so we’ll see what happens.

Great suggestions on fixing the cookies! Baking is very precise, often much more than cooking.

    I can’t help teasing :-)

And thank you for being there!

Hey Jen, I’m sending some windex for that crystal ball of yours !!!
Not sure what choices you’ve got to make but as others said, I’m sure, with the help of loved ones, you’ll make the ones that are best for you.

I don’t need any help, Jen. I can drive to crazy all by myself. ;o)

Working as hard as life will allow. I will submit on or before the 14th, even if they have to slip me into a rubber room on the 15th.
