Wing Slayer Worthy!

How’s 2013 going for you all so far? It’s good for me! Getting back onto my routine is always a good thing and I was in a fantastic mood on New Years Day.  Wizard goes back to work today-bummer for him. He really enjoy and needed the time off.

I. Must. Stop. Baking. But you know what I did that was incredibly stupid? I made all those cookies and forgot to take pictures of each cookie to use in a blog tour my assistant is setting up. I would totally suck as a food blogger! I can bake, I just can’t seem to remember to take pics. Although Wizard did get a picture of me wearing a black shirt and a lot of flour and chocolate. I’ll probably post that at some point. It’s not flattering but pics of me never are anyway.

But we’re not here today to talk about pics of me, we’re here to look at a Wing Slayer Hunter candidate.  This one could be Sloane Michaels from THE PROPOSITION or Linc, a Wing Slayer Hunter.

So what do you think, is he Wing Slayer Worthy?

I don’t know about him. I like the intense look in his eyes. But the pose makes it look like he took the pic himself, like when people hold their arm with the camera out as far as they can reach. I’ll let the other witches decide.

I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year’s. I travelled north to visit my bff. We went with another of her friends to a Parrothead Club Party. The price of the tic covered the food and an open bar and the proceeds all go to local charities. That’s one of the best things about Parrothead Clubs; the motto is “Party with a purpose” and they raise a lot of money for charities in their communities. A good time was had by all. I especially enjoyed watching all of the drunken behavior. It was highly amusing

    Happy 2013, witches!

Dawn, a great idea to raise money for charities that way! Sounds like a fun time!

Kat, I’m resolution-less too. I don’t bother. I look at my goals and schedule, but that’s because I’m closing out one year and setting up the next.

I love this guys intensity :-)

He looks worthy to me. Unless the rest of him looks like Homer Simpson, of course. ;o)

2013’s going okay for me so far. The blogging’s going well. The writing is slow, but good. I just found out Harper Voyager extended their 1/15 end of reviewing submissions date and added on an answer for everyone (instead of the ‘no reply means no’ they did have going on) so there’s still hope.

You know, I always mean to take pics of the food I make, and then end up eating it before I remember. You are not alone. LOL And I’ve seen some good pics of you, lady, so don’t even. =op

Ha! Since this is the guy on the cover of my BAD MOON, hell yeah he’s worthy! Linc! Definitely. And yeah, the pose is wonky but if you strip out his arm and just look at the face…yeah, buddy. Linc, I have cookies for you. ;)

As for the new year? Sort of a continuation of the old BS from 2012 but I’m not going to let it get me down. I am a witch with a mission!

I like him! He’s good to go for me :).

You’re allowed to be so engrossed in your work that you forget to take photos. You can’t be expected to remember everything ;). Wizard really does sound like tons of fun.

My New Year started a bit off but not as bad as last year. While I was in the kitchen preparing my crown roast I heard splashing noises. Yes, a new leak. This one caused by ice backing up on the roof. It’s coming in through one of the transom windows in the family room. The roofer was just here removing the ice. This will continue to happen all winter. In spring we’ll have that portion of the roof removed and new ice guard put down (we did it 7 years ago too).

    Have a wonderful day :).

B.E., keeping my fingers crossed for you on Harper Collins!

No one likes pictures of themselves :-)

Silver, sorry about the B.S. trickling into this year :-( But glad you’re not letting it get you down.

    Great pic for a cover!

Viki, ugh on the roof issue! I’m so sorry. What an expensive pain in the butt.

One would think I’d remember since I was testing them for a blog tour…sigh.

Wizard is a riot when he wants to be. Plus I seem to be an endless source of amusement for him.

    Really hope your year improves!
