Today we should all (in the states) take a moment to remember those who have served to keep us safe. And also think about those who have paid the ultimate price, injury and death, to keep us free.
Now for my promise to get a picture of Bailey. I tried! I have pictures, but they aren’t good ones. All my outside shots, he turned away or looks odd. However, I’ll keep trying. I was only supposed to have Bailey for about four days, but now that’s turned into a week. Middle Son will be lucky to get him back! Anyway, here is Bailey waiting for me to finish writing this blog. Speaking of Bailey, last night I was in the kitchen making tacos, and I hear Wizard, ROARING. Not yelling, but roaring, like RAWR. He and Bailey were playing tug of war. I cracked up. When Bailey first came into our lives, Wizard didn’t want to touch Bailey’s toys, now they are buddies.
In other news, POSSESSION has release on Kindle, Nook and Smashwords. It’s up for pre-order on Kobo and will deliver tomorrow the 28th. iTunes/iBooks should go live any day now. I’m very excited about the early reviews, especially after the weeks of utter agony as I finished the book. So THANK YOU to the readers! I love, love LOVE Kat and Sloane but these aren’t easy stories to write. But I love doing it, and the reader response makes every anxious gut-churning moment worth it! I do want to remind everyone that this is a serialized trilogy, and readers should start with The Proposition

So nice to see Bailey. I think his closing of the eyes says it all – I’ve had enough play with me ;). You get him for a week. Who’s going to be more worn out you or Bailey? or maybe it’s Wizard ;).
I’ve started POSSESSION but with all the action around home I’m not getting much time to read. I’m only 1/4 into it but am loving it. I REALLY like Kat. I’ll make sure I get on here later today and hit your tour stops.

Yay for Bailey! Even if he’s being camera shy. (Too funny about Wizard playing with and rawring at his grandpuppy.) And YAY for POSSESSION!
The weekend was fine. Our resident mama deer made a few appearances. I’ve named her Lady. And the big hen turkey has been hanging out here, too. Last night she brought a friend. Saturday I got my first taste of being a resident in a tourist area on a holiday weekend. Ran to the market for eggs and catfood only to find my quiet little store overrun with people in flipflops and Hawaiian shirts. It was surreal.

BAILEY DOG! And yay for getting to keep him longer. I figure it’s just a matter of time before Wiz breaks.
I. Loved. POSSESSION! Just sayin’. It was worth every drop of blood, sweat, and tears, every sleepless night, and all the angst you poured into it.
I’ve finished the big critique on tap for this weekend. I may take today to get my mind reset, watch some baseball, eat brisket, and then hit the revisions for ROGUE MOON tomorrow morning first thing.

I hope you had a nice Memorial Day, and we really should be thankful to those who have risked so much, and to those who still are risking so much.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED, Possession! I bought it as soon as I saw it was available. I couldn’t put it down, and I have to say I cannot wait for the next. It was definitely worth the sleepless nights and the blood sweat and tears that came with it.
Congrats on getting Bailey Dog for a few days more, and of course he closed his eyes and turned away when you took his picture. My animals do the same thing, and I think they are camera shy. Just wait one of these days Bailey will be over and as soon as he leaves Wizard will break and want to go pick out a dog, its just a matter of time
