Happy Friday!

Happy Father’s Day weekend! Tomorrow we’re going to Wizard’s mom’s house and Sunday we’re staying home.  It’ll be a nice weekend!

I’m still trying to get this headache thing under control. Wednesday was better but it came back yesterday.  I’m really sorry, but I’m just not a great blogger today. I’ll do better on Monday!

What’s everyone else doing this weekend? Any special plans for Father’s Day?

I am so sorry that you’re still suffering. Have you called your doctor? Since you’ve had it so long there may be some thing he can suggest.

I hope you have a great time at Wizard’s mom’s tomorrow. Are all the boys, including Bailey, coming over on Sunday?

I don’t think we’re doing anything special tomorrow. Hubs is golfing with two of the boys on Sunday and then he wants ribs and fixings for dinner.

My 73 year old mom just wrote a book and has it up on Smashwords and will be on the rest w/in a week. I think this is so cool. She wrote the story of a Civil War vet (we’re related to him). I’m excited for her.

Every one have a great weekend and I hope the men all have a Happy Father’s Day :).

Is Father’s Day this weekend?? Not having the Kid around really messes up my schedule for these things. And not having my dad makes this one easier to forget. Suffice it to say, no plans here.

Sorry your headache keeps coming back. :hugs: I hope it goes away for good soon. Have fun with Wizard’s Mom tomorrow and take a good long Sunday to relax.

I’m gonna work. (As long as I don’t let myself get distracte… ooo, shiny.)

About my mom’s book, i screwed up. it’s about a War of 1812 vet. Just thought I’d correct myself so Karma doesn’t bite me ;).

    Have a great weekend.

Viki So cool what is the title or name of your mom? I do a lot of reading from smashword and would be glad to check out her work. I love how freeing publishing media is for people and so nondiscrimintory. Does not matter your age or anything about you- you get a chance.

Father’s day when we take the son back up to Boy Scout Camp we will stop at hubs favorite Pizza Buffet.

Viki, huge congrats to your mom! That’s so exciting and you must be very proud of her! Kat’s right, we need the name so we can check it out!

No I haven’t called my doctor, but I had blood work done Wed., if he sees something he’s concerned about he’ll call me. Biker Witch gets these same headaches.

I wish Bailey was coming over! But I think Middle Son probably has to work. I know oldest is coming and that’s all I know so far.

Ribs sounds good! Still not sure what I’m making. Although Wizard asked for cheesecake so he gets that for sure.

B.E., I saw your post about snakes on FB. UGH!! I tried to comment but my snake phobia wouldn’t let me. You’re so much braver than me!

You must really miss your kid! How’s it going without her there? Are you adjusting?

Kat, so true on publishing now! I love it. And readers can find more selection too.

Hope you guys have a great time and enjoy the Pizza Buffet!

My mom and sister SWEAR by magnets Jen !!! You should really look into them. My sister gets severe migraines. If she puts a pair on and lays down for a minute – they go AWAY !!!

    I hope you feel better.

My mom has kept this pretty close to the the chest and I haven’t read it yet. From the email she sent me it’s the true story about a private who had been wounded during the war of 1812 and his life thereafter. The title is: Discovering Pvt. Ira Allen by E. E. Colangelo.

I hope it’s good. She’s so excited. You guys are the only ones I’ve told because I know you understand the thrill :).

Jenn – I hope eldest son will bring Bailey. He needs to celebrate with Wizard too ;-). I bet he even likes cheesecake, LOL.

    Have a wonderful weekend :).

Sorry about tickling your snake phobia, Jen. Everything’s fine without her, but I do miss her. She’s out being her own person, though – which is awesome. And I’m getting some non-kid time with my husband (which we never had because we got married when Kid was 11).
