True Story:
So Wizard is HORRIBLE this time of year. When we first married, he barely ate sweets. Somewhere along the way, I totally corrupted him and now he loves Halloween candy. This year he opened one of the bags of candy early. “Here Witch, eat this.”
“No.”
“Come on, Sug (short for Sugar–don’t ask).
“No.” Insert pouty witch face here. “I didn’t work out for seven weeks. I’ve eating too much and fat.”
“I love you.”
” I can’t fit into my jeans.” Umm, wait, did that sound whiny?
” That’s okay, I like you better out of your jeans.”
Damn it, I ate the candy. Seriously, Wizard. Is. Evil. I’m trying! Getting my butt in the gym, but I have zero self-control right now and Wizard is not helping!
Changing subjects here, I was flipping through my random sheets of notes that I make while working on a book, looking for my handwritten time line. What I found was this in the pages of notes was this:
“Be thankful, and very grateful for your readers.”
I wrote that down on my note pages when the series hit the top 10 of contemporary romance at iTunes. The Plus One Chronicles were still there on Thursday when I’m writing this blog–so I have a lot to be grateful for and it’s good to stop and remember that. I’m keeping that little random note to myself 
Enough rambling! I don’t think we have any special weekend plans. I need to clean house, write, and hang out with Wizard. What are you doing this weekend?

How funny! I love the out of jeans comment, he’s so cute.
I would have eaten the candy too. Living out here I don’t buy any Halloween candy because no kids come around. Hubs used to have to take the boys to “real” neighborhoods to Trick or Treat.
No real plans this weekend. I’m trying to stay home as much as possible to be with Spunk. He’s growing and is so cute but a naughty little kitten as well. Eating plants is big on his list as well as chewing the carpet and the couch. He’s just learned to climb the scratch post my brother made my previous cat. It was a tree he had thrown a deer on after bow hunting. Cats seem to love it.

No big plans here. Pre-NaNo I started a new book… Well, insomnia Wednesday night got it started and I worked on it a little last night before bed. And no insomnia last night, so something must have wanted out of my head in a bad way, I guess. Other than writing (yay), reading, watching sports, taking walks to enjoy the fall colors… retired stuff. ;o)

Wizard is a funny man and sounds so much like my Hubster…ornery is what they are!
This weekend. One of my pups are sick, Cam, the oldest, so he is going to the vet asap this morn. I hate it when they are sick.
And yesterday, I broke my monitor…yeah, don’t ask. 
So shopping for a new one this eve. Any size recommends? Sat going riding in the new toy dune buggy the Hubster bought. Kids will be with nana and papa, so it’s just us. 
And I have 3 doctor appts next week…sighs. I hate docs, I really do.

Hey I can recommend a lot of good sugar free candy. It is the only way to get through Halloween with a Diabetic in the house.
It is fall and harvest time so I will be hitting the farmer’s markets this weekend. A local orchard has a special on apples by the bushel and I love to make crock pot apple butter and give it away at Christmas time.

You make good use of your insomnia. I’m impressed. If I tried to work, there’d be zero chance I’d sleep at all. I’m really glad to hear you didn’t have any insomnia last night.

You come up with the best gift ideas! Speaking of apples, Mandi (From Smexy if anyone is familiar with her) mentioned green apples and cheddar cheese paninis (I can’t think how to spell that at the moment) on Twitter yesterday. I’d never heard of that but now I cant’ stop thinking about it! That has nothing to do with your apple butter, I was just being random

Wiz cracks me up.
Like BE, sports this weekend and writing. And yes, readers make a writer’s life so much sweeter. I need a panini maker or something. Green apple and cheddar cheese sounds yummy. I was reading a book the other night that mentioned sliced apples drizzled with hot caramel. That sounded soooo much better than carmel apples. (Those are hard on teeth 
)
