Wednesday Worthy

I started some Christmas shopping yesterday and realized that when the shopping gene was passed out, I must have been hiding in a dark corner reading a book with a flashlight.

Is it just me or does the holiday season seem more difficult to you all this year?

Let’s talk about something else! I found the photo that I lost last week.

Tom Hardy

So what do you think? Is he worthy?

It’s not just you. I’ve found it very difficult to get into it this year. Maybe it’s because they began promoting it before Halloween.

He’s not for me. There’s something about his mouth.

I hope you have a really great day!

I figured I just wasn’t getting into the holiday spirit because it’s my first without the Kid around. That and Hubs & I don’t really need to buy each other anything this year because we bought each other this house. I also won’t be making fudge for the first time in years, and not that many cookies. :sigh: It’s not shaping up to be all ‘holly jolly’ over here.

This guy kinda reminds me of Donny Wahlberg – which is good – but like he lost the big match and then drowned his sorrows in Old Crow. And, of course, there are the tats (made worse by the creepiness of the masks). This one’s a fail for me.

I’ve had a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit as well. It just doesn’t seem like it’s halfway through December already. I also got a late start on my shopping. I didn’t start until this past Saturday. Plus my sister isn’t coming home for the first time. Ever. I’m feeling pretty “Bah, Humbug!”

This guy doesn’t really do anything for me either.

Christmas? What is this thing you speak of?

Wow, we sound all Scrooge-y and stuff, don’t we? Jen, I was in the corner with you re: the shopping gene. I do have my wreath up on the front door. That’s it. Maybe when I get home from New Orleans next week I’ll get more in the spirit. With the Magic Bean’s spring arrival, I figure Christmas Future will take on whole new meaning. In the meantime…bah humbug.

Oh, yeah…This guy doesn’t quite ring my jingle bells. Sorry. :(

Viki, you’re probably right about the non-stop promo of Christmas.

Are you getting Spunk a gift? That’s one kind of fun shopping :-)

Dawn, I barely started yesterday so you’re ahead of me. So sorry you’re sister won’t be there–that takes out some of the joy.

I didn’t think this guy would do much here–which is probably why I lost him last week, LOL!

B.E., you have a lot of strikes against Christmas this year too. I wish your kid could come home, that makes it hard.

Bummer on the fudge but I understand. I won’t bake anywhere near as much either–time’s a huge factor.

I knew you wouldn’t like the tats :-)

Silver, I bet you almost want to skip ahead to next year! How Only is feeling good.

    Christmas seems off for everyone.

Yes, I got Spunk and PeeWee their gifts before I even thought about the humans ;). I’m sure Bailey and Corky will have something under the tree from you too :).

I love Tom Hardy, so he is definitely worthy.
