Happy Friday!
I hope it’s a happy Friday for everyone! Here in So Cal, we’ve been unseasonably hot and dry with winds, which means fires. The dry weather is making everyone miserable with sinus and allergy problems too. We desperately need some rain!
Here’s a quick pic of Bailey. BLB (youngest son) went to see him and sent me this pic. He said Bailey’s doing fine, he just can’t jump. I’m not sure why Bailey was in his kennel–maybe he was sleeping when BLB visited him at Middle Son’s.
This weekend I have to write but I’m going to meet Biker Witch (my sister) for lunch on Sunday. What are you all doing?

Bailey is so cute! That stuffed bone is as big as he is ;). I sure hope he heals up soon so he can jump and catch lizards.
Good thing you’e meeting Biker Witch for lunch. The fun time should help get those creative juices flowing. Have a great time and don’t work too hard.
It’s been strange how cold it’s been here and how hot it’s been out there. Weather is a crazy beast.
Yesterday was the eldest sons birthday. We’re all going out for dinner Sat. I told him no to The Melting Pot. It just isn’t that good and definitely not worth the money. So his second choice was the Outback – go figure ;). Boys!

This weekend is for writing and reading, and if the weather’s nice, more playing in the woods. Oh, and I have to hang some art I picked up at the local thrift mall yesterday. Gotta love the thrift mall. 3 new things to hang on the walls and 5 old paperbacks for me for under thirty bucks. When I got home, Hubs said – in true Blues Brothers fashion – “We’re puttin’ the library back together, man!” ;o)

Yay for Bailey feeling better and he may have been in his kennel to keep him from trying to jump until he’s fully healed. Ugh on the fires and dry! Us, too. The Only called me yesterday on her way home from work because a train had set fires along the tracks and their house is only a long block from the tracks. Luckily, the fires were about a mile south of her. We ALL need rain! I’m doing a worldbuilding program at chapter meeting and then we’re meeting the kids for Italian for dinner. Sunday, I’m unplugging and catching up on the DVR. Have a great weekend, everyone! Enjoy lunch with Biker Witch, Jen!

Viki, had to laugh at your eldest son’s choices! My eldlest son loves a place Wizard and I aren’t fond of either. Kids! Hope eldest has a great birthday dinner! And happy belated birthday to him.

Silver, that’s too close to Only’s house! Glad all is well. But we all really do need the rain.
