Happy Friday!

How can it be Friday again? It’s crazy how fast time is going.

I sent in the revisions on THE COWBOY MARINE, and once I hit send, I thought of a few more things I should have done in the manuscript. But I’ll get another crack at changes during line edits so I’m not too worried yet.

After that, I spent the morning listening to the first 7 chapters on audio for THE PROPOSITION. I love this narrator, Ryan Hudson! He’s doing an amazing job. It’s so surreal hearing the characters this way. But I could really get hooked on audio books :-)

In the afternoon, I tried to get caught up on some cleaning and man, I felt like this afterward:

Bailey worn out from playing

It’s getting harder and harder for me to keep up–and I still have more to do just to get the house to my acceptable level. Time is a premium these days, so I may have to get some help with the house (I say that but I never do it), but more importantly, I miss Bailey!  I can always make time for Bailey!

No big plans for me this weekend, what about you all?

Sorry you’re worn out. You have had quite a bit on your plate lately. Now that Cowboy Marine has been sent maybe you can relax a little.

Not to take focus off of you – But we got a photo of Bailey ;).

Time is at a premium but you also have to take time for yourself. A few dust bunnies never hurt anyone. I say that but I can be just as bad ;).

My big weekend plan is to clean my closet. Oh man will that be a chore. I figure at least two bags of donations will come out it :).

Have a good weekend and maybe you can get Bailey to come visit :).

    Bailey!

What were you saying? Oh yeah… Friday. Bleh.

I’m sorry you’re so jammed right now. Things will even out eventually. You just have to motor through until it does. :hugs:

No plans here either. It’s just nice enough that I want to play in the garden, but it’s just early enough in the year that I’m afraid I’ll make everything pretty and then we’ll get snow or ice or some other frozen crap that will kill everything. I’ll probably read some, work some, and watch the end of the Olympics.

Weekend 8-O how did it get here so fast!! No plans for the weekend. But then when I don’t have plans it seems like everyone around me has things for me to do.

“Oh your not doing anything Mom so you can take me to the mall and then to ……..” Or “Hey Mom can you fix my shoes, backpack, sew on my badges, bake 3 dozen cookies for my meeting……”

I think I will get really busy doing laundry.

Yay on hitting send but yeah, we ALWAYS think of something just as soon as the MS is on its way.

    BAILEY DOG!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear you on the upkeep. Lawyer Guy is good about helping out but he’s still in MICU and with the kids closing on their house next week, some repair/redecorating before we get them moved in, and a mid-March deadline on this set of revisions on COWGIRLS DON”T CRY, I figure I’ll get some sleep between 2 and 4 am. Needless to say, I’ll be working this weekend. :D

Viki, the cleaning never ends does it? Closets have a way of breeding junk in the dark!

On my end, I’ve had to ignore cleaning to get the work done. The only one who complains though is me. Wizard never says a word.

Bailey should come over and visit! Or we could go see him.

Hope you have a good weekend!

B.E., Wizard and I are having this same discussion about putting out plants and stuff now or waiting. We really haven’t had winter here at out (serious drought conditions) But for you, there’s a good chance for more freezing weather.

My schedule is crazy but I’m Very Grateful for the work!

Kat, that’s the life of a mom, isn’t it? It didn’t matter if I was busy or not, my kids always needed something NOW. Hope you get some time to relax and read!

Silver, poor LG. I hope he’s getting better. You have so much going on, I don’t know how you’re juggling it all.

So exciting about the kids new house!

You can hit that deadline. Once you get into the revisions, it’ll go faster than you think. But I sooooo get the stress and worry! I can’t wait until its published and I can buy my very own copy!
