Wednesday Worthy

Yesterday I got in my car to go grocery shopping and discovered I had a flat tire. Ugh, so frustrating. But I’m a  competent, adult woman I too care of it.

By calling Wizard.

Then I stayed home and worked and he came home early from work and took care of the tire. I’m not proud of this. But in my defense this is the same man who once called me while I was on a layover in an airport because he couldn’t figure out how to bake a potato in the microwave.  I had to walk him through it step by step. Wizard and I are co-dependent. I’ve learned to live with it.

Even sadder is that I have Triple A Roadside.

But the good news it the tire’s all fixed and even better? Bailey is here! He came last night as Middle Son has a business trip and his awesome girl friend brought Bailey by on her way to her business trip. Those two are busy!

So here’s our Wednesday Worthy Hunk for today:

I like your solution to your flat tire ;). We could do it ourselves we have to show these wonderful guys how much they are needed and appreciated. It makes them feel good and we can stay clean ;).

Yes! Bailey dog :). Too bad the kids are so busy but good for you. You get Bailey. I can picture him hanging out while you write and then getting you to take a break and play. He’s good motivation.

Yes, I have always liked this guy. Very worthy.

Hope to have coffee today with my girlfriend and get some grocery shopping done.

You have a great day and have fun with Bailey :)!

Yes Worthy this time and the last time I saw him.

Dependency is fine as long as you both are there for each other. Two halves of a whole right.

OH, yes I do like him. :) Mmmmmm.

 on the tire. That’s my solution–or used to be. Now I just call roadside assistance. Less trips to the ER that way. ;)

Yay for Bailey visits! As for me, life is on hold this week. Working like crazy to get the crib painted and put together (it will be finished by Friday–dang wait time between coats of paint and polycoat!) Looks like maybe this weekend for the Magic Bean’s imminent sprouting. ;)

    Happy Hump Day!

Viki, I can’t change a tire anymore…well I could, but my hands would would be a mess later. That’s one reason we have roadside assistance. But you are right, we do need to show men how much we need them :-)

I had to go shopping this morning then I took Bailey for a walk, now he’s hanging out and squeaking the new toy I bought him at the grocery store.

Coffee with your girl friends sounds fun!

Kat, it’s true, two halves of a whole is the point of a good marriage (in some ways–in other ways we should have our own lives too).

Silver, I don’t blame you, I don’t want any emergency room trips! In this case, Wizard was furious, not at me, but because we have new tires. So I knew he’d want to see what happened. A large metal screw happened :-(

That crib is going to be beautiful when you’re done, and that baby is going to be a lifetime of joy!
