Wednesday Worthy

We’ve survived one week of Wizard’s retirement! That’s a good sign, yes? Of course it helps that Wizard now has a new best friend.

Wizards's Transformer

This is an Asus Transformer-it’s both a small laptop and a tablet. The three boys and their girls got it for Wizard as a retirement gift.  He spent several days learning and setting it up. He’s in love! This little beauty is doing double duty–keeping him entertained AND off my desktop. Wizard had a tendency to wait for me to get up and go do something like laundry, then I come back and he’s at my desk. That makes me insane and I end up pacing and sighing waiting for him to get off my computer. But now he has A.T. keeping him totally entertained!

On my end of things, I’m back to revising Exposing the Heiress. I’ll get it done this week I hope. It’s pretty funny actually, my editor loved the book, but there’s been some debate about which line it will fit in. This is the story of my writing career, LOL! But it’s all fine now, I think.

I could’t find a new Wing Slayer Worthy Candidate tonight so I brought back an oldie:

Young man and panther

I think the panther is totally worthy! What do you think?

Those kids were really smart. That’s the perfect gift even if he weren’t retiring :). So far hubs has stayed off my computer but he really thinks he will be using it. Thank you for the great idea for the laptop/tablet.

Glad your back to editing. Will you be giving us more details as to the change after ETH is released?

So agree. The panther is SO worthy. The guy is okay but not one of my favorites.

    Have a great day :).

Perfect gift! And keeps him out of your hair. I’d finally bought the Hubster a iPad for his bday in sept when he kept drooling over mine. Best thing I ever did for myself…er him. ;)

I CANNOT wait to read more wingslayers. I mean, yeah, I love all your stuff, but those baddies? Right up my alley. hehe

Hrmm….I love the eyes on the guy but he seems…to clean cut. That’s it. I picture WS as rough tough guys. But do love the eyes!

    Have a great one!

Men Boys and Toys- enough said.

Right now I need a WS who is mechanic. My car’s transmission failed. I got to find out how much they want me at work by how many people offered to give me a ride in and home. It is nice to have people willing to help me out. Yea I know I would do the same for them in a heart beat.

So if you can find the tire guy or the race car one that might know how to fix things- send him to West Virginia please.

OMG, I don’t think I would’ve survived if we only had one computer to share. I know our marriage wouldn’t have. It was bad enough when I had to share with the Kid. Yay for Wizard’s AT! Yay for figuring out the niggles with ETH!

Here kitty kitty. I think he’s worthy. =o)

Nice tablet. And smart of the kids. They know y’all so well!

This model is one of my favs so feel free to share him whenever you’d like! Can’t wait for Heiress and REALLY can’t wait for more WSH! Happy Hump Day!

Viki, before Wizard retired,he was too tired and his eyes too fatigued to deal with new devices. So this worked out great for him. He’s having fun with it.

I’ll definitely let you guys know more once I’m sure where the book will land. This isn’t a big secret or major issue. It’s my editor trying to do the right thing for the book and me staying out of her way :-)

I’m with you. The panther is more worthy than the guy to me too.

Ashlynn, I bet he loves your hubby loves his iPad!

In this pic, I feel like the guy could be evil or wrong somehow and the panther is onto him. But then I can be rather twisted :-)

Thank you on the wing slayers! I just want to get back to them and get those stories moving. Although I love Hunt and Alyssa story too.

Oh Kat, car trouble is the worst! Hope you can find a transmission guy you trust. In the mean time it’s wonderful to have friends you can rely on. Especially in your case where you are the man driver (I’m guessing) in your family. Nothing liek feeling as if you’re all stranded. Really thinking of you!

Funny that you mentioned tire guy, I was just thinking of him last night when I was looking for a pic. But it was one of those nights where I couldn’t find anything I wanted.

B.E. we also have a pretty good laptop. But this transformer works really well–Wizard has it set up just for what he wants, and can access things easily.

Part of the lure of the desktop is we turned what should be the formal dining room into my office so it’s just super convenient to use. But now the smaller transformer is easy too :-)

Silver, yep the kids are pretty good at figuring out Wizard. They really wanted to do something special for him, and he was truly surprised. It was awesome.

    Glad you like the pic!!
