Happy Friday!

We had a great T-Day at Wizard’s brother’s house! Except that we missed BLB (youngest son) as he had other obligations. But otherwise it was awesome and relaxing. Both my brother and sister-in-law did a great job cooking and hosting a great day. Plus everyone was teasing Wizard about getting me a dog :-)

This weekend, Wizard has plans both days which frees me up to work. I’m getting deep into this revisions on EXPOSING THE HEIRESS. I’m extremely torn between wanting to get this right for the more suspense/sexy line and needing to get back to CAGED MAGIC. Time is getting away from me (I blame Wizard! His retirement is making me too lazy!).

So how was your T-Day (for the U.S. folks) and what are your weekend plans?

Happy to hear that you had a nice Thanksgiving. Sorry BLB was missed but we all know how it goes. The kids grow up and have to spread their time around. Hey, I remember being the kid doing that ;).

You blame Wizard’s retirement for making you lazy and I blame hubs for making me busier :).

I can’t imagine being in your shoes and working on two books. You always seem to work it out somehow though. I can’t wait for both of them :).

Our Thanksgiving Thursday was nice. It was only three of us since the middle son also had another place to be. Everything turned out delicious. Today all 6 of us will be together for Thanksgiving Part II. I’m making a standing rib roast today. Leftovers from the two days are going to be SO good :).

Don’t work too hard but please tell Linc I said “Hi” :).

    Have a great weekend!

I’m so glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. Bummer about BLB, but I know how it goes. (As an aside, I think we need to come up with a new nickname for BLB – like BARD: Bad Ass Recovery Dude.) ;o) Okay, since Wizard is otherwise occupied, get to work. I’ll be right there in the trenches with you, since I took the last two days off – and now I’m 4K behind PLUS I got my edit notes. Ugh.

Turkey Day was awesome. Hubs and I spent the day in comfy clothes. He cooked, we ate, we watched football and The Waltons original pilot movie, and we wasted time on the internet. I have a sink full of dishes and the aforementioned writerly work to do, but it was worth it. Oh, and the Kid called, which was nice. Plus, I had a nice chat with Mom. A good day all around. =o)

Viki hope you and your family have a fantastic time today! It sure sounds like two delicious days PLUS leftovers :-)

Holidays are going to be different now, and I’m determined to go with the flow. The last thing I want to do is make the kids (or they girls) feel bad when they are trying to find a way to be with everyone.

    Have a great weekend!

B.E., I love your new acronym for BLB. I should do it :-)

Oh, so how were your edit notes?? Do you feel good about them?

Your T-Day sounds very relaxing, even if you do have dishes to do and words to write today.

Hope you have a good and productive weekend!

Other than the first ten page edit sample she sent me when I hired her, I haven’t looked at the notes. I told myself I wouldn’t because I have writing to do and don’t want to be distracted, but then I got lazy and haven’t done that either. She did say in her letter that it was very clean and most of the notes she made were nitpicking. (But she made some sound points in the first ten, so her nitpicking works for me.)

B.e., that sounds very positive. Hope you’re getting a lot of writing done :-)
