Wednesday Worthy

Okay who invited March in??? Because I’m telling you, March brought his two crazy cousins to my house: House Renovations and Late Deadline. Now one of these nutjob cousins I could handle. But both in the same month?

On the renovation: We had the materials ordered and the schedule set to begin March 7th and all done in that week. THEN Wizard and I changed our minds and decided we wanted to redo the downstairs tile in addition to everything else in our two-story house. So our guy had to come back out, remeasure and order  a lot more tile. Of course, the second batch of tile is delayed in Texas. Plus all the additional demo of old tile and relaying new, and doing a fireplace surround to match, has added significant time to our construction zone. This is going to be a long job. About a week and a half if all goes well. We have to wait to see if the tile comes in this week (fingers crossed!) to get started.

And I pushed back my deadline on Savaged Vows to April 1st.  I’m not even close to done. In fact, I’m trying to ram three books into one book, and it’s…well…Wizard is starting to pour wine again at night. He doesn’t even ask, he just suddenly appears at my desk and sets down a glass of wine, then slowly backs away. Part of me knows this will have to be a three book series, but I’m fighting to the last breath to make it one book. We will see!

Oh and we’ll have Bailey for a week around the 14th. So now we’re going to try to get the tile done before Bailey gets here.  The tile will be the most disruptive so I don’t want Bailey to deal with that. We can work around the carpet with Bailey, or schedule it after he leaves. But obviously, Bailey Dog comes before house renovations :-)

So March…good times here in the Lyon’s Lair. I’ll take pictures.

Now for Wednesday Worthy. I didn’t get any new pics so you so let’s choose between:

 Front View

Attractive hunky black male bodybuilder doing bodybuilding pose in gym with iron chains over shoulders

Or Back View:

Muscular construction worker shirtless in building site holding big blue barrel over his head shot from the back ** Note: Soft Focus at 100%, best at smaller sizes

Which do you think is more worthy?

I’m gonna have to go with Back Dude.

Good luck on the renovations! Good luck on fighting with the book. You do know that it’ll probably win and be three books, though, right? ;o) Yay for Bailey!

Here’s hoping March passes with minimal headache. My current headache will be finished by tomorrow night and then I can relax for a little bit before the next book rush begins.

Yeah…you know that book is gonna be three but good luck! Sometimes we get lucky and can wrangle characters and plots to fit what we want. *bwahahaha*

Trying to work during construction is just…hard! I remember when we did the master bath. It was a SMALL project but having two guys wandering around, and having to answer questions just threw me off my game.

BAILEY!!!! That will make everythng okay. :D Happy Hump Day!

Silver, I can actually hear you laughing, LOL.

I don’t work well with interruptions so I have no idea how this will go. All I can do is try.

By the way, thank you again for your fabulous post on Monday!

I was lusting after that back at 3:15 AM. Damn! It’s fine and nice arms too ;).

Of course you would plan the floors around Bailey, who wouldn’t ;)? I hope the second batch of tile arrives on time so you don’t have any more delays. It’s going to be so nice, you’ll feel like you’re in a new house :).

Oh man, three books into one, eek. I see why Wizard is supplying wine ;). I’m sure you’ll come to the best resolution and we will all be happy readers.

    Don’t stress too much.

The wedding was the most beautiful one I’ve ever been to. It was classy and appeared to be simple (it was not) which means the wedding planner did a really great job.

    Have a nice evening :).

Viki the wedding sounds lovely! I’m so glad you had a good time. Did you wear the dress you planned or break down and buy a new one?

I love that back shot too — it looks real :-)

We’ll see on the tile. However it works out, I’m just grateful we can do it. And Bailey is always a joy. He’s a sweet boy, and I’m happy to do it for Middle son and his girlfriend as they are celebrating her birthday.

Hope you’re having a good week!
