Wednesday Worthy

Today we see Wizard’s surgeon for the 2 week follow-up and hopefully he gets the stitches out.

Stuff is just piling up and I’m trying to stay afloat. Then my house cleaners had a vacation, which turned into big scheduling issues that means they aren’t here for five weeks when I need them the most. This is making Wizard agitated more than anything else at the moment. We spent considerable time and energy getting that all in place because we knew I’d be physically stressed and him unable to do it. I’m just trying to laugh at the irony and roll with it all right now :-)

Here’s our Wing Slayer Worthy Candidate today. Is it just me, or is he kind of meh?

What do you guys think? Is he worthy?

Fingers crossed everything goes well at the doc’s office. That totally sucks about your cleaners. The whole outfit is on a 5-week vacation? How does one stay in business that way? Ugh. Well, if there’s nothing to be done about it, just relax and embrace the mess, so it doesn’t drive you guys nuts. :hugs:

This one? He looks like husband material, but not Wing Slayer Worthy material. You know, the kind of guy who mows the lawn and fixes the sink, and would love cuddling up to watch TV, but fighting evil ain’t his bag.

B.E., I didn’t explain well. It’s a long story, but they took a one week vacation. I accommodating them, but they aren’t accommodating me when I need them. But I’m letting it go, I don’t have the energy to push. Wizard’s the one upset, and I’m telling him to let it go. I can do enough to keep us sanitary :-)

I agree, this one is nice…I can see him as a straight contemporary romance hero. Not a hard edged, fighting evil type.

I think it’s time to find a new cleaning service. Just sayin’…

Fingers crossed for a good report and no stitches! Go, Wizard! Go, Wizard! And you, Jen, are made of all kids of awesome! *nods*

I also agree. Worthy as a contemporary hero, nice guy next door type. He doesn’t have the hard edge needed for a Wing Slayer.

I hit my deadline, came in on the numbers for word count, and looking at my next two deadlines this month–a 3 chapter proposal (already started) and a 25K Kindle World (also already started). I figure those two are gonna pretty much write themselves.

I hope all went well with the follow up and the stitches have been removed. Hope it doesn’t itch too much. Poor Wizard.

Oh no! It must be so hard on both of you with the cleaning not getting done. I know how it can really make you antsy when the house isn’t up to normal standards and you really can’t do anything about it. The cleaning crew won’t come back a week or two early – that would tick me off. When possible drape a sheet over it ;).

I hope you are having a good afternoon. Thinking of both of you.
