Wednesday Worthy

This is so crazy, but guys, SAVAGED VOWS releases next Monday! I’m excited.

I’m also panicked about SAVAGED DEVOTION because the shoulder crap took over my life and slowed my writing, but I’m trying. Yesterday I got the MRI done which is awesome. With any luck, that will show the source of the problem.

And I learned something new–Xanax works! I did the MRI with no claustrophobic panic at all. I was also very easy-going, LOL! Wizard wanted to stop to look at some houses, and I’m like, “No problemo! Let’s do it!”

Then Wizard looked at all the construction debris, dirt and rocks we’d have to navigate to look at lots, and said, “You sure you can walk, and you know, not fall on your face?

And I replied, “No problemo!” And I didn’t fall. People I was awesome, probably because there were no tricky fan cords waiting to trip me up.

Then Wizard said, “How about we go out to lunch? Think you can handle that?” Ha! We went to this little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant that I’d normally avoid because of my stomach, and I scarfed down a taco and tostada. They were small but still good for me. Wizard began wondering what the hell was in that Xanax.

Then I went home and fell asleep. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I slept in the day. Probably decades? I’m not exaggerating, I never nap, but I was out cold.

Now my Xanax vacation is over and I’m working late as I write this blog on Tuesday night, begging the story gods to help me and I’ll give them my left over Xanax :-)  (No more Xanax for me. It was fun, but I like being more in control as a rule.)

Okay and finally, here is our Wednesday Worthy Candidate:

So what do you think? Is he worthy?

Yay for the Xanax mini-vacation. And good for you for not taking any more. I was really proud of the fact that the last time I was prescribed Vicodin, I only took three and the other 27 ended up flushed down the toilet. I also don’t take Alkaseltzer Cough & Cold because the last time I took that, I sat on the couch giggling until it wore off. Freaky feeling that was. I hate not being in control of my own brain.

I hope the story gods were kind to you last night. I managed 1600 really crappy words last night that I’ll most likely kill tonight. But I’m still loving the story.

Yeah, he’s worthy, but my god, the poor man must’ve been in a freezer when the pic was shot. Poor thing. Maybe one of the witches will volunteer to warm him up. ;o)

Y’all would be so much fun to be around. Sadly, I get no awesome med effects. :?

Let’s don’t talk about writing or new words, mmm’kay?

Gah. I leave for Florida Monday. I have no time left! Oh, and yeah, this guy works. He can pack for me!

B.E., I’m just grateful xanax got me through the MRI. I don’t need it daily, but I can see how it helps other people with serious stress or anxiety issues.

1600 crappy words means the story is moving for you! And you’re still loving it which is awesome.

LOL on the witches warming him up :-)

Silver, I react strangely to some meds so I’m careful. But this worked as it should, so I’m happy. I think I was relieved too.

Nope we won’t talk about writing. I know you’re under tremendous stress with RWA coming up, and you’re the KOD President so you have all that on you. Once you get to Florida, everything will smooth out and you’ll be able to enjoy yourself.

Your Xanax mini vacation sounds like fun ;). I’ve never had a problem with going into the tube for my breast MRI’s but my poor hubs can’t get in at all.

You and Wizard got a lot done after the MRI too. Did you see any interesting houses. Lunch sounded great :).

    This guy works :).

PeeWee’s mom and dad just landed in San Diego a little while ago. They’re there for ComicCon. He’s even signing limited editions of The Thing Illustrated book (Thursday) that he worked on. Don’t know how he worked it in with all the other stuff they’re doing. So hubs went and played with PeeWee at lunch time. I’ll try and send you a photo of the little guy.

    I hope you’re having a great day :)!

Viki, you’re braver than I am! Truly. I have not endured what you did, and I admire you for it.

Wizard and I did actually get a lot done, including picking up a CD of x-rays I need for the orthopedic visit next week.

Your son is amazing!! You must be so proud! His book isn’t available on Amazon right? It’s a limited edition just for ComiCon?

I saw and loved the picture of PeeWee! He must have been so happy to see hubs :-)

Jenn, Here’s the link to one of Eldest’s FB posts on the book signing. He and all the contributors were invited to do signings at ComicCon. I think it is only for the con since there are only 250 copies.

    Have a wonderful Thursday :)!

Viki!! First I hope his signing went well. And then…I just spent way too much time on his website (I linked from the FB link) and his art is amazing! I love the hand drawn comic book covers, and the was really intrigued by the skateboard and snowboards. He’s so talented! Thanks for sharing :-)

Thanks for taking the time to look. He really has talent. He mostly does pen and ink but he can do anything.
